Yeah, we both are big drinkers, lol. Renting a car is not an option for us. We will shuttle to the area, then either Uber it, or bus it, thanks.

After teaching in a prison for a couple of decades, I cant help but be impressed with both of your social responsibility. I realize that neither of you probably consider this to be a big deal, but it is.

Then best to take the shuttle to Sam's town, then uber or bus to get to the other casinos.

Before I retired I worked on the Driver License system in Honolulu. To work on the system the Feds had to run regular checks on us. We couldn't work on the system if we were arrested, or had a DUI so we had to keep our noses clean to get the security clearance.

Joker's Wild - $1 craps and $3 BJ. What more could you want? They also advertise an insanely cheap cheeseburger and fries deal ($2.99? $3.99?) on their sign. I've never been brave/hungry enough to check it out.

Skyline for sure. No table games. Technically three tables, but I've never seen anyone on them. Ever. But old school charm.

Another one that's just off Boulder Highway that might be worth a look-see is Klondike Sunset. Not too much there (no tables) but good VP (NSUD and 9/6 JoB I believe) and a decent coffee shop. I also *think* there's a VP bar, but I might be remembering wrong.

There's always the three casinos in downtown Henderson as an option. Emerald Island, Rainbow Club, and El Dorado. No tables, but three locals casinos with unique vibes. They are all right next to each other which is convenient, plus a block or so away from Lovelady Brewing which is worth a visit.

When do the table games open at these casinos? We're thinking about Joker's Wild, Sam's Town, Longhorn, and Arizona Charlie's but we'd be in the area around 10 am on a Tuesday. I'm guessing that's too early?

Sam's Town and the Longhorn tables are 24/7.

I believe Joker's Wild tables open around noon.

Arizona Charlies recently dropped table games but have electronic table games which are really just glorified slot machines.

Good to know this. I was planning a joker's wild visit after breakfast for some craps. Might have to postpone the trip over until after lunch. Lol.

Jokers' coffee shop is pretty good and very inexpensive. If you sign up for the slot club, which is separate from Bconnected, you get a wheel spin, which in my case got me an almost free lunch.

But if you have to pay out of pocket, you can also try Sarah's kitchen at the Klondike which may be America's least expensive full service restaurant. Last time I was there, there were 7 of us for breakfast and I think the total bill was $24. The food is pretty good, service requires some patience. I don't think it is possible for Sarah to hire any wait staff with experience in the current job market given the likely tips that can be expected here. (Unlike some of their other customers, please remember that a 15% tip is nowhere near appropriate on a $2 breakfast. Your waitperson may be inexperienced but is working as hard as the one you would have at Mon Ami Gabi where you would be paying at least 10x this much.) Please forgive me if I am repeating myself.
