October 2019 roll call!

We'll be at Flamingo from 10/26-10/30. We're spending 10/30 in Tonopah. Then, back in Vegas at the D from 10/31-11/3.

 

What time are you thinking of heading to Cosmo? I have a 530p apt at Feetish Spa, won't be done till about 7. Thinking that might be pushing it a bit too close.

 

Appox 715 pm departure seems good to me. Don't have to be there till 8 for drinks. Not sure what the others who are also there had in mind.

 

That should be good for me. As I said earlier I get in 530 on my flight. Need to Uber DT, check in, wash up, and get a pregame drink in! That should be good. Even if we hit the road by 730p we should be fine I think. Right?

Cool Beans! If you're not tired of meeting folks, I for one would like to give you a "Good Howdy!" I'll be at the LasVegas4ever meet at the Plaza on 10/30, slated from 4-7:00. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing Halloween on Fremont Street.

 

That sounds like a plan! I just need to sort out our hotels for the new extra dates so maybe I'll end up downtown anyway

I would say you prefer long trips.
For me, 4 nights in Vegas is already too long.

Just finalized plans for 10/30 through 11/4. Staying at the Cromwell.

 

10/27-30

 

10/29 - 11/1. 3 comp'd nights, $300 freeplay and 2 buffets per night. Can't pass that up!

Im going for my 40th Birthday! 2 nights on Fremont and 2 nights at the Park Last week in October !!

 

Oct 23-28 at the D. I like to meet people. And gamble. And drink.

 

Annual Halloween trip – 7 nights. My son will be joining me on the 4th night. I've offered to take him ever since he turned 21 (he was 13 when I made the stupid mistake of taking him in 2001), but he's never wanted to go back. On the contrary, he's shown as much or more reluctance to go to a casino as I did about jumping out of a plane! This will be his introduction to casino gambling and most casino virgins are lucky – aren't they? I think he qualifies.

 

Been gambling with my Dad in Vegas for the last 25 years! (he used to take me to the tracks when i was younger) Hope this is the start of a great tradition for you two like it is for us! Half the fun is planning the trip, we live a bit too far to see each other regularly, so the almost daily phone calls to discuss the building excitement keep us closer! Can't wait till my only (daughter) is old enough to start a new tradition (8 more years!)
