ABC/ESPN spent all day yesterday talking about this guy. It was on their "crawl" with a blow-by-blow description of what was happening and they also talked about it during the college games.

I understand that it is "news", but I think it was way over-reported. A guy falls out with his team and ends up released. He signs with another team.

The more important story is that season's first full slate of Sunday games is today!

Yeah. And John Elway would have led the Colts to a few super bowls :poke:

Don’t disagree with anything you’ve stated. I think the “importance” of this story lies in the fact that this “idiot/genius” totally worked the system to his benefit and was rewarded for awful behavior. Talent trump’s character!

I’m glad the triumph cost him a good deal of money.

That’s the thing too... I’m not sure that it did... he gets $15 million for this year PLUS a $9 million signing bonus for one year alone. If he helps the Pats win another Super Bowl, who knows how much he’ll be worth on his next contract or maybe one year is all he wants???

Most “talking heads” speculate he won’t last the season in New England. I hope this ends poorly for him... selfishly, as a Raider fan, I’m a scorned lover!

Similar to one of those times when everyone around you says "Your better off without her", but you have to learn for yourself and end up getting horribly screwed.

Trust us, you are better off without this clown on your team. Maybe the Pats can reign him in and it will work out, but (no disrespect) the Raiders just don't have the personnel to do that. It would have ended with him setting back the franchise years.

I'm sure this week will bring lots more coverage that will start with whatever outlandish method of transportation Brown first arrives in. He will certainly want to top the hot air balloon and helicopter. Then we will get treated to his latest uniform crisis. Likely not the proper polyester blend he will require. (Is it know if he even gets 84 since someone else already has it?). Or maybe they won't have his gatorade chilled to his exact specifications.

Wonder if there is any props on how long it takes for him to go off?

God, Terrell Owens on speed! And he made the Hall! Tell you what, though, he was a gamer, but maybe the worst cry baby in history save Deion Sanders.

Yes it was ugly, however based on just the filing and the emails, I'm not ready to say he is guilty on this one yet. The narrative is she was a nice religious woman and Antonio Brown preyed upon her kindness. Give the filing I am not sure if that is true or false or somewhere in between. In the current "me too" movement so many jump to conclusions without facts. I am far from a Brown fan, but he deserves for a fair hearing on this one.

Thanks for re-opening that particular wound! ;)
People have often asked me why I dislike Elway so much.
    1. He threw a tantrum & screwed up the entire purpose for having the NFL draft positions based on win/loss records from the previous season. He should have signed with the Colts and played by the rules that applied to every other player in the NFL.
    2. Once he got to Denver, it wasn't long before he essentially re-wrote the rule regarding "intentional grounding". This "throwing the ball away is OK if I'm out of the pocket" is what I have always called "the Elway rule" (just like the "tuck rule" is the actually the "Brady rule"). Fundamentally changed the game forever. People who like high-scoring games love the change. I do not.

These latest accusations are worse than his recent "behavior" issues. I had predicted he would be gone from the Pats by Halloween, now I'd be shocked if he ever played for them. He just needs to go away.

Yes he does need to go away, but his entertainment value is pretty high.

While accusations of rape are and should be serious, here is part of the complaint that has me shaking my head at the circus that is Browns life.

In late June 2017, however, during another training visit, Brown and Ms. Taylor
were watching a church service on Ms. Taylor’s iPad in Brown’s home in Miami, Florida. As they
had during their college Christian fellowship days, they often read scriptures, prayed or watched
services together during training visits. On this occasion, Brown was behind Ms. Taylor as they
watched the service on her tablet. Unbeknownst to Ms. Taylor, while she was focused on the
religious video, Brown began masturbating behind her. Before she knew it or understood what was
    happening, Brown ejaculated on her.
Specifically, Ms. Taylor felt a wet spot on her back and then suddenly realized what
had happened. Thoroughly disgusted, Ms. Taylor exclaimed, “Ewww!” Brown, unfazed by her
reaction, jokingly responded, “oh ‘B’…you know, I’m sorry” and then left the room.
Ms. Taylor was dismayed, confused and embarrassed. She called her mother, who
    advised her to immediately leave.

Seriously, why do I feel like this was lifted off of a comedic porn clip.

Hmm, does she have a hearing handicap? I don't know how you could miss the sounds of someone jerking off behind you, who was close enough to come on you? Unless she was wearing headphones. And AB came in complete silence?

I call bullshit on Ms. Taylor.
