    Hi All!
I'm going to Vegas in Oct and am trying to decide between Park MGM or The Mirage to stay at for 4 nights. Both hotels are offering comps, but here is the breakdown.

-Park MGM: 4 nights in a suite (nighthawk or nightingale) with $200 free play and $200 F&B

-The Mirage: 4 nights in a basic room (no option to request a tower room, sadly) with $200 free play and $100 F&B

I've never stayed at either, since usually the only MLife property I stay at is Aria, but I wanted to try something different. Plus the resort fees are comped for both those rooms and they're not at Aria. I'm just not sure which property is the better choice... I know a lot of people like The Mirage property better as a whole, but I'm worried that if I can't get into a tower room, I'll regret choosing it since the basic rooms are pretty outdated and I'm not a fan of their bathrooms at all lol. I pretty much go only to gamble and stuff my stomach, which I can do easily from either place.

As a side note, I absolutely HATE the Park MGM hallways, and would love to know if anyone who has stayed in a suite there could tell me if the suites are right next to the elevators so I wouldn't have to trek down the creepy hallways at 2am or if the suites are in various places, in which case that might greatly affect my decision. Thanks again in advance for the help and suggestions!

I suppose it depends on some of your priorities during a vacation.

Pool - Mirage wins hands down.
Room - Looks like your suite offer means Park mgm wins
Location - Pretty equal, maybe Mirage has a slight edge? (both middle -ish of strip) Mirage has easy access to CP, linq, harrahs, casino royal etc. Park MGM is close to NYNY, shops, MGM etc.
Food - I would say Park MGM now has the edge with Eataly and all the nearby food options in park/nyny. (although its only a short walk to Linq prom etc)
Casino - Pretty personal preference however I would say Mirage. Atmosphere and options are better (IMO)

Personally, I love the pool at Mirage so Mirage would win but hope the above helps a little :)

I can speak to the Park MGM suites. I've stayed in the Nightingale and Nighthawk suites both, this year. The doors in both cases were right off the "central pillar", so didn't have to go even an inch down the hallways, probably 40-50 steps from the elevator. Noise wasn't an issue and it was pretty busy both trips, KISS Concert one trip and March Madness the other. I will caveat that saying I stay up late and drink heavily so maybe I just missed it, but my wife didn't complain either.

I will say the suites are very nice and roomy, great showers. The red color in one of them is a bit much, but didn't change how well I slept.

My GF stayed in the Nighthawk suites and we stayed in a regular room. She said that the suites are bigger and just off the cental pillar (as said by @mofo99). I would say if you're used to staying in Aria, I would stick with Park as Aria is next door.

Other than the pool - I think Park might be the choice for you.

Stayed in the Nightingale last year, loved it. Straight off the elevator. I really like Mirage casino but for rooms can't go far wrong with those suites at Park, booked again for February. Take the extra 100 bucks f&b and enjoy!

Based on your previous stays at Aria, I would assume the suites at Park MGM would be more comparable than Mirage's rooms. You'd probably be disappointed in Mirage's rooms.
Personally, straight up resorts-wise, I would choose Mirage. In my experience I like the casino a lot more and the location as well. But the extra $100 credit might have swayed my decision.

I'd just suck it up and pay to stay at Aria. However, if you must, while the Park's suites are all clustered around the central core it isn't like you are getting a luxurious experience. The bath tubs were taken out, you get one small window in the living room, and the decor looks very bland. At least the Mirage rooms have some warmth to them, their pool is better, and so is the casino.

I would go with Mirage, since it was built as a better class of hotel than Monte Carlo was. I've gotten cheap upgrade offers to Tower rooms at Mirage, which are much nicer and on a few upper floors when I've gotten a comp offer.

ParkMGM because it’s newish and the vibe is livelier. And I would consider it closer to south strip and Mirage north strip.

Mirage casino isn’t what it used to be and the only reason to be in the vicinity is to go to Caesars or across the street to the other casinos. Meanwhile, ParkMGM is revitalized and lot more spunk

I have stayed at the mirage a lot but I have now stayed the park mgm twice in a nighthawk and nightingale suite this year and I have really enjoyed my time there but I don’t do the pool stuff and check in is fairly horrible but that aside I had a great time and the location is great

Mirage Rooms are neglected and the casino wasn’t as busy as it was at ParkMGM when I last visited. Also Park has Park Theater, Eatally and TMobile arena to keep people coming in at all times of the day. The park also has a younger clientele based off my observations. Obviously everyone’s opinions vary and this is coming from someone who loves the Mirage.

I'm not sure which suite it was that I stayed in, but I've stayed in a Park MGM suite. It was much better than any Mirage room I've stayed in. I like the Park MGM renovation too. If you're into sports betting, Mirage's sports book is lightyears ahead of the restaurant style sports book Park MGM has now. I'd go with Park MGM, but it's really just a matter of what you're looking for. I love Mirage too.
