Looks like it was a lovely anniversary dinner!

 

What an amazing anniversary dinner. The last time I was at Delmonico was probably 10 years ago or so. I just remember the service being impeccable! I hope it still is.

We first met on the same month/day as we were engaged and then married.
Husband says it's because he only wanted to have to remember one date.

 

Gonna wake up slug-a-bed in a minute.
Heading over to Bouchon for breakfast.

Don't forget to check the specials! That's where me and @Sonya had that delicious bacon carmelized onion thing. We forgot to order extras though....

That's the way to do it. Congrats on future planning. We have 4 (FOUR!!) anniversaries. This is what happens when society takes it's time to catch up...
Dec...No marriage allowed so we put our anniversary on the date of our first date. Years later...
Feb...Domestic Partnerships were allowed. These only let you file but no legal authority.
Jun...Civil Unions were allowed. These gave you all the legal authority of a marriage...or so it was thought. This is when we had our big ceremony.
Nov...Marriage. Because even though CUs were supposed to be equal, not everyone judged it so. I had to stop mowing the lawn and ran to City Hall with my husband of 25+ years in my jeans and a white tee shirt to actually get married. It took 10 minutes.

Bouchon is such perfection for breakfast! I cant imagine ever going to Venetian and not having Bouchon every morning.

 

Very tasty! He likes to order them spicy.

 

At Cosmo and everybody’s at the new Moolah machines and at Elvis too.

 

Holy fricken moley. There are no adequate words. Delmonico should give you a cut. Never dined there but I am making a reservation today for my short November or long New Years trip and will pay for my meal, which is saying something!
