I hate waiting as long as we have to wait for great episodic television, so I did a Google check to see if I could find out, knowing it has been long enough already. From one of multiple articles I found:

"In a wide-ranging interview with Vulture, AMC's President of Entertainment Networks Sarah Barnett said the fifth season has been put back to 2020 due to "talent needs"."

That's what you call a buzzkill.

Just finished season 7 of Wentworth--thought it would be the finale but the completely unexpected ending left it open for yet another season. Outstanding show. It's one of those shows that makes you think it's over at the end of season 2 but always leaves a hook for a potential next season and yes, there will be a season 8. WAY better than OITNB which I quit watching 20 minutes into season 3.

Just started Intelligence (Canadian crime drama) on Netflix and looks very promising after watching the first episode.

Breeze, agree with you on City On A Hill--excellent show.

Ugh! That stinks:grrr: Gilligan can't draw talent to his show? Crazy! I wonder if Cranston is stonewalling him? Cranston HAS been super busy lately, kind of a victim of his own success.

It took a few weeks, but we finished S7 of Orange/New Black. Another interesting twist on the show. Overall I enjoyed the show. I'm amazed by how they managed to weave characters in and out of the story, as necessary, and juggle so many storylines from year to year. The show addresses societal issues and is heavy on the drama, but tries to balance that with lighthearted stories and dialogue. Laughter in a prison, not out of place, I suspect, but the efforts to make the show a dramedy fell flat more often than not. Amazing show, overall, and it will be interesting to see what comes of a spin off, if indeed anything every happens. Do they try to update the show and carry on with the same tone, and an occasional callback to the original series? Do they go the Better Call Saul route and try to change the tone/focus of the new show so that it's not a clone of the original?

After Labor Day it's finally time to see how the GLOW girls fare in Sin City. After that, I'm not sure. I can't quit 13 Reasons Why, even though it's not a great show, so it might be S3 for me. But my girlfriend is done with it.

And I will binge watch the new Breaking Bad movie the weekend it drops on Netflix. How did I not know about it before Tuesday afternoon?

So the hubs and I agreed we would start watching old movies on nights I’m off. Like before 1960. So we are starting with Hitchcock movies. So far North by Northwest, To Catch a Thief, and The Rope.

    We take turns choosing.

Vertigo is a good one. Rear Window is another. The Birds. And, of course, Psycho.

Got to throw 'The Man Who Knew Too Much' in there as well.
...and, in the Hitchcock vein, consider watching 'Mirage', directed by somebody named Peter Stone... you won't be disappointed.

Check out Funny Face with Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire. I think it might be on Turner Classic Movies which I have on my Roku player.

The Thin man Series along with "Torchy" does something (like run for mayor) from the 30's are worth a look. You have to pay attention though as they move along fast.
