It says "Please return after 12:00PM PST" Well, it's 12:35PM PDT and it's still down.

Just tried to sign in and still down.

Perhaps they contracted the work out to the Boyd website support team to save money?

It may be a system wide issue. They couldn’t check me out at Aria this morning. They wrote my name and room number down on a piece of paper.

Another board member, Ezzy, just reported that MB systems are also down. Sounds like something major is going on!

It went down Labor Day week last year as well.
I was in town and wanted to know how many points away I was from Pearl. Would never update online, outage lasted for at least 6 hours.
Wound up missing Pearl (and my free parking for this year) by 68 points. FML

I hate when they have these unforseen problems.

MGM should just do away with tier levels and go back to the way things were under MGM Mirage. This way they can really stick it to us. No perks for being a certain tier, just whatever crumbs they decide to throw at the plebes. The whales will still get theirs, so they won't have to worry too much. The guy that lost $1,000 at the tables can maybe get free parking. If he is lucky a 10% off email for next time.

They had to do manual checkins here at the mirage. Lineup was massive

They said its all mgm. They did a system update and were suppose to be up and running by 9am.

Rant: This is a great signal of their sleaze. Any decent company would have some form of the truth on their website. MGM, however, pretends that this is a planned upgrade and instead of being forthright move the time to backup every few hours.
So dishonest, no wonder that their MLife perk system lacks transparency.
Any company that claims to ‘upgrade for service improvement’ during prime online booking hours is either completely incompetent or lying.

Lots of folks were reporting extra long wait times at MGM Casinos in Vegas and in other areas due to a computer outage. This is not the first time this has happened to MGM.

This happened once when we are in Tunica. The folks that had to do things waited in huge lines. I just played without a card; the line was not worth the effort.

    Poorly done upgrade or whatever.

I think their upgrade or system failure caused even more issues. We had booked a king suit at Delano for the 5th through the 8th when we got here last night we were told that they had overbooked all rooms and they downgraded us. I've NEVER been downgraded before at any MGM property due to availability. All he would do is waive the resort fee since we were already comped and put in a request for a room change today. I was just told they cancelled all room changes for today due to the overbook.

I'm guessing when the system was down they started booking manually and really screwed up. My first thought is I should have stuck with our usual hotel at Aria but I bet it's all messed up over there too.
