This made absolutely no sense to me. So I fired off this message to them through the "contact us" link: Can you please explain this promotion to me? Just to confirm, the machines that are part of this promotion are clearly marked? Is it slots only or are some video poker machines also included in the promotion? And this is what I got back: These are Video Poker machines that have signage that indicate that they are part of the promotion. Please speak with a floor person for assistance if you have an issue locating them. At this point, I gave up because she was giving me a headache. Your thoughts?
Definitely a good politician. They talk a lot and say nothing. Evidently, they want you to come in and ask. That's all I got from the TWO responses. Yes, two responses and still they said nothing.
Well, I have not seen the machines in question, but be aware nothing really may have changed since "same game type" could be, as an example Bonus Poker where one machine has an 8/5 pay scale and the other 7/5 or 6/5. Tier credits accumulate accordingly.
I will for sure check the paytables! I have all the tier I need to maintain Sapphire, but my Mom needs quite a few to maintain and I thought we might accumulate faster if the paytables don’t suck.

I've looked at these machines at the Suncoast. The reason they earn tier credits faster is that they have very low paytables.
Hey Now! The Suncoast has 11x BConned points on Mon and Tue in Sept. I will probably check out the VP machines in question on Tue. 7/5 BP would be worth it with the extra points if they offer it.

I hope the opening of Circa slaps some sense back into the suits at Boyd, at the least for the downtown properties. They'll crap their britches 20X the first time they watch a big group of Hawaiians walk into Circa!
To diss Boyd I plan to stay at the Cal and play at othet places like Circa. And when Boyd survey comes out I will tell them what I did.
