Fantastic report! You're a true New Yorker---no car! I envy you---I would love to live in NYC, too. Your graciousness/class are so evident throughout your report. Thanks so much for sharing & allowing us to follow along. Love your back of the house visits, too.
Looking forward to your Alaskan cruise report.

    Thank you fabriano.

Re the car, I am from Western New York and have been driving since a teenager but yeah, living in Manhattan and especially as a single person, a car just doesn't make sense for me. The one time ina year that a taxi, Lyft/uber, public transportation or my feet don't work I can easily rent one. Lol.

I so very much enjoyed being a part of your journey! Thank you. Solo trips, as you describe yours so beautifully, are exactly the opportunity to take a breath, and enjoy the experiences at your own pace. Your pics of Food to drool over, shows and spas.... yup. Life is good! Happy, happy bday and many more happy, winning trips!

I did read the article on this accident. Supposedly, the 2 guys crossing the street were intoxicated. And it never mentioned that they were killed, but they were critically injured. So hoping that they actually survived. But crossing that street is bad enough, but if you are drunk, you're just asking for disaster to occur.

I just got caught up with your report. Thanks so much for all the details. I've made notes for our fall trip.

Lovely trip report! Truly enjoyed following along. That said, I find it interesting that tips and certain meals aren't comped. I've never played enough to come close to covering all my meals at Wynn -- I usually get 300 or so back on top of the room but at v/p, they've comped everything for me. I've literally left there with a 0 bill eating at chains like CUT and Sushi Samba... Interesting

    Hi spdanpwr, Thanks!

Yeah, I thought Le Cave was a little odd as I thought that was comped before by my host but I could be wrong. I had heard some time ago that Urth Cafe and Cipriani aren't covered by RFB at Wynncore for the same reason.

I have never heard of a hotel comping restaurant tips charged to a room, ever, and I have been Vegasing 30+ years. I think for the right player i guess anything could be comped, including a 50k purchase from a shop at Wynn, but comping tips would still seem odd to me.

For a couple of years now my entire Wynncore bill (not including tips) has been comped by my host, including as of now thousands of dollars in spa treatments (which is more unusual), but never tips or retail items.

Yes, very sad. I didn't read any news reports. A security official on the scene, though she didn't seem like a cop, told me they both were killed. I hope she was wrong as well.

Thanks for the amazing trip report :D It sounded like a great experience... may the gods of odds be working in your favor more often next time :jester: I think I am adding Le Cave to my Vegas wish list - I will have to try that and Bally’s Sterling Brunch to see which wins :feedme::beer:
