Live TR : Aug 16th - 20th @ PH & Cosmo

Vehicle packed and just waiting around until "that time" to hit the road.
This trip has the first 2 days starting in the usual fashion with our comped stay at PH.
The next 2 nights will be at the Cosmo. Getting a free offer from the Cosmo didn't seem like it would ever materialize with the limited play so we opted to pay for the 2 nights in a Terrace one bedroom fountain view. Definitely expect some pictures from here.

Quick Summary of the Itinerary. We usually generate an abundance of activities knowing we can't do them all. This leaves items to plan for the next trip.

Friday - check-in around 2-3pm Vegas time (5-6pm Eastern) so time to shower, eat dinner, get Fat Tuesdays then gambling by starting the CET Quest.

Saturday - head off strip and spend time at Rio, Gold Coast, Orleans and The Palms.

Sunday - Check in as early as possible at the Cosmo and spend time on the North end of the strip.

Monday - either head downtown or rent a vehicle and drive to Mt Charleston for lunch.

Finally made it.
Unpacked, showered and at Rock & Reilly's for our meal.

 

Staying in resort vista @ PH.
One of the better views we have had at PH.

Nothing is hitting.

 

How was Rock and Reillys?

 

One downside to having such a nice view with all the lights makes it like sleeping with a dozen night lights on in the room.
The curtains only block out about 70%.

 

2nd time eating there and both times excellent. If not too busy I suggest eating at the bar as they keep minimal staff.

 

Already up (230am) and almost done with my coffee.
Need to shower to start a new day.

 

Here are some hits from last night. Only a very very few $10 craps table and they are packed.
Even casino royal was $15.

 

As my mother used to say (in Polish) the first plumbs are wormy. It was her excuse for losing the first few pots when we played 5 card draw as kids. According to the saying, you have many big juicy plumbs to pick so get at it!

We play these 25 cent Top Dollar and Pinball machines at PH which they move around a lot but keep together.
She play top dollar and I play pinball.
