Weekend with the boys, drinking, eating watching football, maybe even a day or two at the pool and of course gambling (craps). Either one will be comped during our stay. I have gambled and watched the games at the Book at Linq last year so I kinda know the Linq. Haven’t stayed there though, stayed at Flamingo in the 90’s. Thanks in advance!!

One vote for Linq due to their renovation efforts. Flamingo feels old and dated.

*caveat* I'm mlife, haven't stayed at either, but considered/researched both.

Based on researching rooms, I'd pick Flamingo, bigger, and more appealing to me. I'd stay at Flamingo, play at Linq. (I like the casino more at linq, and CET counts your play at all CET casinos.)

I'd compare rooms on oyster.com, etc.. While Flamingo rooms appeal to me more, you might like Linq more. Personal preference...there is no right or wrong on rooms in Vegas, it's what appeals to you personally!

Linq, but as I've said before, the time I was there, half of the elevators were out of service. Took 20 minutes or so to go up. Everyone cranky and rude because of it. I ended up using the stairs since we were on the second or third floor. But the renovated rooms were super nice. Loved the shower pressure.

Both are probably fine, to be honest? Maybe go look up the rooms and things you want to do.

flamingo rooms are bigger, so if you're cramming people in, that may make more sense.

Both are so close that you can do all of the gambling/food/whatever stuff by staying in either tower.

Neither sports book is all that special to me.

Since you've mentioned spending time at the pool, last couple of times i stayed at the Flamingo in November the pool area was closed for the season, i could use the pool at caesar's palace for free

We stayed at the Linq a couple months ago. We had a two room suite that was pretty sparse, like trying too hard to be edgy. Also the bed wasn’t very comfortable and our window was pretty small. I really like the Linq but I won’t stay there again if I could avoid it. However the casino is great and the people there are very nice.

I like the tv in the mirror in the bathroom at the Flamingo so I pick them. Thumbs up to DMR's post as well.

Linq all day, every day. I'll say it... I think the Flaming-O is a shithole.

Edited to add: if this were another time of the year, then the pool area at Flamingo may be a strong factor. For a trip in November it won't matter, in my opinion.

To hang out in, Linq. For a boys trip it's a no brainer. I mean, Flam/Linq are geographically next to each other, so if the Flamingo room is markedly better than the Linq one on comps go with that, but resort-wise it's not even a contest.
