Been there done that. Well hell, look at these crappy photos I have taken. I never promised I would take good pics but I expect better of myself. I am such a disappointment in photography.

Here are my thoughts on it so far after only 22 hours in Vegas. It is great not being on any schedule. Do what you want when you want. Eat whatever I feel like eating. Sleep in or go to bed early without disappointing anyone. But, for myself, run through my bankroll a little faster than normal. That half dollar didn't last long. Before I know it I will be down to the pocket lint and paper clip. I do miss having someone to pal along with, but, I have found myself talking to more degenerates, bar tenders and pit crew than I usually do. That has been fun though.

I say do it if you can. I might change my mind come Friday morning at 5:00 am but right now I am having some fun.

All refreshed in the room. Time to head down and make a shitty parlay bet on some games tonight and find something to eat.

Yeah that's the tricky part of being solo. So, what I've done in past trips is take the bus to casinos outside the strip like Red Rock that way I kill about an hour and half on the bus. I enjoy the sights.
Although, coming back to strip I take an uber,

Nice idea. Not sure I will do that this trip but my next full solo I will have to try that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for pics of the room. Same color scheme as my room last year....solid pink and Neapolitan ice cream colors in stripes. The color combination can make you go blind. I couldn't stand watching tv with those colors in that pattern around it. I was in a suite and I said, "Never again."

It's in the promenade between Flamingo and Linq. Down that strip headed toward the High Roller. Good pizza. Pricey but what isn't in Vegas. Been here several times. Haven't ever been dissappointed.

I can concur with your observations. I was over the color pattern 16+ years ago or whenever I stayed in one of these rooms for the first time. Unfortunately, it was my only available comp room this time. Guess I can't stay away for over a year next time.

Golden Knight pizza. Garlic crean sauce, pepperoni, chicken, ham, onion, chili oil and Cambrian chilies. Just excellent. Grwat flavor with a good heat. Makes your throat and lips tingle, but does not take away from the flavor of this pie. A nice crunchy crust with no sagging. I highly recommend!![IMG]

Here are my sports bets for the day. No!! I have no clue what I am doing. I am a Cubs fan so that explains the first two slips. The third slip is my hailmary shot for the day.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

I sit in frist class so always watch the goings on up front. That is standard procedure whenever one of cockpit crew needs to leave. An FA sits in the seat until the crew returns. They also always block the aisle. I swear every time I need to use the restroom so does the pilot and I have sit with my legs crossed while he/she uses the bathroom and chit chats with the FAs.....I've had 3 drinks and I really have to go - get back to work!

Can't really tell, hope you are enjoying the solo experience. Maybe it would be better if you winning!

I am having a fun time. Would always be better if I was winning. We will see how tonight goes. Maybe a few 4 of a kinds or a hit on my sports bet would be a big turn around.
