Lost $20 at bubble craps and $20 at quick hits at NYNY.
Bubble Craps was fun which is shocking considering I don’t really like normal craps. Mostly because of the culture though. Had some bad experiences with dealers or whatever they are called and pit bosses. Seems like most people don’t want to teach you the game and are too busy pretending like superstitions are real and give you bad attitudes. Hate to say this. But it’s true. Bubble craps was fun and $20 went for a while.
Quick hit is one of my favorite slot machines and it went for a while too. Only got free games once and won $2 on that. How pathetic!! Oh well
We are now at the Aria pool with mom! Never been to a pool in Vegas before and it’s very nice. Relaxing and having my first drink this trip (Corona).
Will be hitting downtown for some serious gambling later.
    Cheers! 13B67547-1CE0-42A9-962A-F2D27CA6F129.jpeg

Pool was a lot of fun. Getting ready for some pizza rock and downtown action. No luck for me on bubble craps or the buffalos again, down collective $80 on the two.

Turned $100 into $500 at the GG. Best casino in Vegas hands down!
Table win with quad 7s in UTH. All ladies at the table. Some newbies. The atmosphere was electric! And won a few hundred in roulette. Hit numbers back to back multiple times. The pit bosses were not happy lol.
Happy gal now as I was down $250 on the trip but up $250 now - and more gambling and more days to go!
Tomorrow is our anniversary so may do more relaxing and Bardot Brasserie is for dinner. As for the rest of tonight let’s see where / how it goes. Hoping to win some more!!

Sounds like you guys are having a blast. We haven’t been in GG in years. Looks like I’ll be stopping in October based on that rec of yours!

The dealers are nice, the music is great, and it’s always a party in there. You can be treated like a High Roller pretty easily if you bet like $25 a hand. CW come by very often. And we always get comps and free play in the mail. In the evening they have the dancing dealers which are fun too but I enjoy it during the day as well. Also it helps that I always win there!

Certainly a long day today, we all played downtown from 11ish am to about 9 pm, with a break for pizza rock and red sushi at the Golden nugget in between! Unlike my lovey wife, have not been so lucky with the gambling today! I went pretty hard at the blackjack tables because I was having a good time, came out without much to show for it but it was certainly a blast! Not too many photos to show for it, certainly going for a more relaxing time tomorrow rather than non stop gambling. May get some pai gow tiles in early in the morning...

Good morning Vegas! So far, Mrs. Bourbon is a big winner this trip, with my mom and I not doing as well, although I will share a VP but she got that helped to stop the bleed.

Of course she yelled “I got a royal flush!” And I ran to look and saw this haha

To me, win or lose at gambling, waking up in Vegas with my wonderful wife means I am an eternal winner!

Today is our anniversary! Excited for more fun gambling and Bardot Brasserie tonight, currently waiting at Aria Patisserie, we fell in love with their ham and cheese panini and my wife loves their coffee

    Mrs. Bourbon,

I really like your pool selfie!

The vertical presentation of the clear visor, mirrored sunglasses, bright red lipstick, and lime perched atop the white Corona can just yells out, “relaxing at the pool in Vegas!!”

That would be a perfect cover shot for a magazine like Vogue — or even the Sports Illustrated summer edition.

    And.....

Congratulations on your good luck Downtown, particularly at the Golden Gate — always a fun spot!

Thank you! That visor is my lucky visor. Every great win in the last 2 years has been while wearing it!! Sporting it today for some more winnings. Started the morning off by spilling my whole coffee in bed. Tipped the housekeeping extra hard today for that. So hoping the gambling isn’t a disaster lol

Aria's High Limit Lounge has an excellent bourbon collection, hopefully they haven't totally gutted it yet. Check out the Michter's 20, or if you enjoy rye whiskeys the Jefferson 21 is my go to.

I think we have become buffalo addicts. What’s everyone’s favorite buffalo variant?

Here’s a pic our dog sitter sent us. Looks like she’s doing alright without us! The cat is doing well too. Must be running amok while we are out

Had a fun morning and afternoon gambling! Played three new table games at Bally’s I have been hoping to try: High Card Flush, Texas Hold me Bonus and Mississippi stud. Big win at MS stud to reverse my losses, out for about $150 profit!

Definitely had a lot of fun, and my mom even decided she liked high card flush, it’s hard to get her into some games. I think I liked Mississippi stud the best (helps that I won..) due to the low overall house edge (when considering amount of units bet).

Stopped at Jonny Rockets in Ballys, not sure if anyone has stopped there but there is a particular waiter that we always try to catch up with who is very high energy and we managed to see him again!

After waking up early yet again we decided to take a rest in the room after walking around Aria/Park MGM playing some bubble craps and buffaloes. I think our favorite so far is buffalo classic!

Mrs bourbon and I are resting a bit in the room before our big dinner and we can’t be more excited. My mom is on her own, trying to make sure she doesn’t get into trouble over text from time to time! She managed to win $100 at harrahs playing 3 card poker. I’m assuming she is on a hot streak now because she walked to casino royale and we haven’t heard anything since!

Going to Bardot soon, and after maybe gonna go for some fancy drinks, or maybe a round two at the Golden Gate....

Bardot Brasserie was absolutely fantastic as expected!

    975E50AE-065F-4622-9F1C-434B3461B261.jpeg

We had the escargot, which was incorporated into a little pastry and was excellent

    832B48B2-3434-4DF8-87C9-7CDED82A6DCB.jpeg

We both had the filet, which also was excellent!

    09CBF384-BD5C-4ACE-8FCE-621A1173A70B.jpeg

After dinner we had one mission: win some money! We wanted to play some buffaloes and then hit the tables at the Golden Gate.

    D97ACDB1-9A20-4F89-BF0F-EF0FD3AC2D75.jpeg

I ended up catching 14 of 15 buffalo heads, with a $54 win! That $54 win only cost me $100.... hahaha was definitely fun though!

After minimal buffalo success, we decided to headed to our favorite...

    AADE1183-4B76-4511-BB46-FDC874958ED1.jpeg

We played UTH, blackjack, and 3 card piker, each with no success unfortunately. But we certain had a great evening and a great anniversary!

Today, looking forward to more gambling and fun adventures with Mrs. Bourbon and mom! I am at 17.5% of my bankroll, so hoping to have some luck!

Gonna just leave a fun pic for mom...
