I started to feel the effects of a day of binging, so I decided to hit up only one more bar before checking into my hotel. Last on the list today is Huntridge Tavern at Charleston and Maryland.

This is the first bar, albeit it’s now happy hour, that has a sizable crowd. Nearly every seat at the bar is occupied, most of those people are playing video poker, and everyone seems to be drinking as they do on a daily basis. I order a quick drink, snap a few photos, talk to a few regulars, and decide to hit the road for my hotel. This bar clearly does the most volume of those I visited today, but personally when I go to a dive bar I prefer a smaller crowd.

The sky has darkened, rain has begun to fall, and a police helicopter is circling the block. A short nap is in order after I get settled in my room. I will likely keep the text to a minimum for the remainder of the evening, but I will continue to post photos throughout the night. Thanks for following along, hope you enjoyed the first chapter of my journey in Sin City.

I just checked into a one bedroom suite at The D. I’m about to take a shower and a nap before hitting Fremont. After that I need to get a players card here, decide where I want to have dinner, and then roam around downtown until I pass out. My posts for the rest of the night will likely contain less text, but I will continue to post photos. I hope you enjoyed my dive bar hopping today. See you soon.

Love how you passed like 10 hipster bars in the Arts District on your way to Huntridge Tavern, kudos to you my man.

Atomic Liquors was a real dive back in the day like 10+ years ago. Buzzer to get in, basically only offering was $1 tall boys of Busch and within 10 minutes of entering you’d be solicited for a $20 bathroom nub job. Good times.

I remember driving by late at night someplace close to Arizona Charlie’s either on Decatur or Charleston that looked like something from the movie Sin City, wished I stopped in and remembered the name.

After some rest and relaxation in the room I went to the players club at the D to see if they remembered me from when I last passed thru. They didn’t. Probably a good thing.

Fremont street itself isn’t too hectic tonight, so I decide to grab a quick dinner at Andiamo’s and to stroll around the neighborhood. The bartender at Andiamo’s was great company as we watched the rain pour on Fenway Park. I took a break from alcohol with dinner and was in and out in 30 minutes. Still a great experience and they have some excellent pricing on Taylor Fladgate 20 and 30 year old Tawny Port so I will probably be back tomorrow.

Made a lot of friends but they can't be trusted
Don't know what their angle is
Post up at the bar and I'm double fisted
    Talking to a mannequin
I don't know what it means when he takes my pulse
And says that I'm a lot like him
I say that's fair enough that's why I'm trying to loosen up

Outstanding photography. I’m guessing you are not an amateur, or I’d ask to steal some of these.

Made it 31 hours without sleep. I think adrenaline is my new drug of choice. Had a blast hanging out with @notfromconcetrate, hopefully we cross paths again later today. For now I must bid you goodnight, Vegas.

    — Brief Intermission —

Good morning, and in case I don't see ya: Good afternoon, good evening, and good night! You can't get any further away, before you start coming back.
