I set mine up when I joined and never did change it. Self explanatory from my trusty daily driver oil burner. I think I will update it to one of my beagles after reading this thread.

It’s a cocktail, not an alien!

Manhattan, up. Rye Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, bitters in a mixing glass, stirred-not shaken, strained into a chilled cocktail glass with a stemmed maraschino cherry, but I prefer Luxardo cherries.

Mine is an animated .gif. You may have to click on it to see it. But it's the Starship Enterprise (NCC1701) flying over the Las Vegas strip. It was made for me like 10 years ago by someone on the Las Vegas Advisor forums....back when that was a thing. It reminds me of the time I transported into the future and went for a ride in a Galaxy Class Starship over the Strip.

The current one I'm using is a Southpark avatar. One of my cohorts did them of several of us. I must admit that the cat-eye sunglasses are spot on!

In case I've changed it (I'm thinking it's about time for a rotation) here is the one I'm talking about:

Here are a couple others in the series ...

Figured I wasn't worthy of one until being on here for about a year. Exactly 11 months ago I signed up so guess I will have to start looking for something.

Season ticket holder for the Milwaukee Admirals, the AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators.

Alas, they haven't won the league championship (and the Calder Cup) since 2004, but "Also Ran" doesn't really work as a screen name.

Mine is a pic of a ten week (maybe a touch older) Pebbles kitten. My first companion when I moved into my own home. She was my constant companion for 21 years and 6 months. RIP, Pebs.

Mine is fairly obvious. This is one of my dealt Royals In Atlantic City. I love dealt Royals because I don't have to think about what to do. Also I want to be anonymous, though there are some people on this site that might know me.

Faster than a speeding mouse! More powerful than a chihuahua! Able to leap tall countertops in a single bound! Look! Up on the bed! Climbing the curtains! It's uhm ... a... cat.

    Obviously, I'm a cat superhero.

    Nice original thread, Ken.

Mine is a random pic of my wife and I somewhere in Vegas. Actually not sure what casino it could be to be honest.

Making the best of one of my two trips to see the SIL/BIL in PHX. Seeing how all I saw of the city was their backyard, I figured when staying with drunks, be one. I've been told it's a nice city, I wouldn't know. My only other experience with the city was spending an hour on top of a parking garage at the "sky harbor" The dude at the information booth said that's the last place you will see the "tobacco police" He was right.

The view from my room at Bally's-LV. Taken about 3 years ago. I also use this avatar for my phone. I'm just such a francophile; anything French is my favorite.

Mine is actually a real dish that is offered at 2nd St. Grill located inside the Fremont Hotel. It's a casual fine dining restaurant that's a hidden treasure and I recommend trying this place if you're ever Downtown looking for a steakhouse type of eatery.

Ginger infused deep fried snapper I think it's called. The fish is so huge I wondered if anything else like starch or veggies were included. When I asked the server he sheepishly said, "It's under the fish....".

And by golly it was. There was a bed of rice and fresh grilled veggies but could hardly be seen since the fish took up all of the plate.

I chose it because it's kinda like me. Dried up, grizzled old fart. With a devilish grin, lol!;)

Mine is a tarot card I pulled. In a general context, the Ace of Pentacles represents new beginnings and prosperity. Better than the usual Wheel of Fortune which is always iffy......
