Yep, the minimum for nights was originally 1500. When I booked a couple months ago they were 1600, and now there are none less than 1800.

On the most part it's 1k gems = $100 on the website room calendar.

This isn't a foolproof method, but as said on the FB group it does fit on the most part.

    No.
And as high as 6100... the price of the nights we have booked. Fml. Praying they realize they are overpriced and room rates will go down...

6100 is the total of gems I've earned since the game came out! FML is right. Though it is nice to have the ability to book during expensive times, I think I'd still have a hard time parting with that many.

I am trying to debate whether to go to the Deaf Expo (mid July - I currently have some comped rooms at Excalibur. A few of my friends *may* go) or stick with my original plan of beginning of August (solo, as of now). My whole goal is to use these rooms for that trip. Whether I will have enough, I have no idea. I also plan on a Downtown night or two. It may have to be an extended trip (if July). I also have a wedding in Vegas in the spring (dates unknown). So there's so much factors here, but I certainly want to get the Wynn for summer 2020 (cuz, pool, duh!).

Kicking myself for not playing more before the gem coin-in devaluation. Now I have to spin billions more in coins for the same amount of gems :(

Was just wondering, I know there is a 4 night limit. But can I book 4 nights and my wife book 2 and then link them?

    Yes, mate.

Can do up to 8 nights that way, providing they're available.

The new limit is 25K after the recent update. I'm guessing they will continue to devalue just like MyVegas

Well that is interesting. I'm surprised that they would cut off totally. A lot of people (who haven't learned the saavy way to earn with scratchers etc), likely hit that because of plain old monetary spend. Which makes it a true slap in the face to those who have invested significant amounts of cash into the game. And the way it is worded it doesn't sound like they will continue to accrue in the 'background'. Did anyone have over 25,000 and get cranked back?

I evidently hit a break level (now on 71). I went from 10,000,000 per gem to 15,000,000 per gem. Currently at 7618. I've still been climbing well but 25,000 is not anywhere in the foreseeable future. I had been averaging 28-100 per day but today was a lonely 17.

If you read the screenshot’s message, it says you can earn gems again after redeeming it for a stay. They don’t want people to keep hoarding gems without using the gems. So, just earn and burn and repeat!

Thresholds for coin-in per gem have been adjusted as well, so it’s more work than ever to reach 25k.

Yeah, I know. That's exactly why I clicked it. Just letting others know.
It went from no limit > 50k > 25k. Maybe they will decrease it more, make it even harder to earn, and increase gem price of the rooms.
Luckily, those who earned over 25k before the update got to keep their gems. Some people have 100k gems apparently so I understand why lol.

Haha they will definitely continue to devalue. Best to make the most of it as up to now it’s been too good to be true :)

Btw they did cap the gem at 25k back in May but upped it to 50k a few weeks later. Now they decide 25k is the limit again.

That's good to hear. I was worried that they would half it again to 12.5k lol.

They adjusted the coin-in thresholds so each gem takes more coins to earn unless you're at the "end game" already where you've doing 25M coin-in per gem.

My gem per coin-in was 15M two days ago. Yesterday it became 20M. It wasn't expected to be at the 20M coin-in rate until I earn another several thousand more gems.

Sounds about right. Way too many people playing and getting rooms for cheap/free. :(
