Well since people are all worked up, I'm just gonna say this...

Last I heard from NFC he's killing it in bj (blackjack).

And it has nothing to do with what I'm talking about regarding his upcoming news.

    Keep winning that money bro!

Okay, good news first or bad news first?

Bad news. It’s always bad news first.

    Bad news...

    - Placed ninth in the slot tournament. Not a winner. Bleh.

    - Got my ass beat in the poker tournament. $25 plus two $20 re-buys. Somehow I still enjoy it. I just don’t have the attention span to play a “shrewd” game of poker. I don’t know how in the hell I’ve cashed in previous tournaments.

    - Ran my way all the way up to $200 playing $2 blackjack at poker palace from $60 in buy-ins, only to donk that all off in about an hour, for three-ish hours of total play. I went from ratholing green chips in my back pocket, to grinding out $3 and $4 bets to try and stay alive. The worst part was that @ffejry was trying to talk me out of continuing playing, but I degenned my ass out and paid the price. I can see him facepalming right now as he’s reading this and switching apps to text me “NFC! Why didn’t you quit while you were ahead?!”. It was one of the most entertaining sessions of blackjack I’ve had in a long time though. The locals there are a hoot to play with. To have all that entertainment for a net $60 loss with free drinks, I’ll take that all day long baby!

Okay, time for good news now, right?

I’m staying five extra nights! Aside from the fact that this trip was over far too soon, I also liked the idea of playing in the Plaza Super Bingo event from Aug 4 to Aug 6. Based on the current promotion, I could get tournament entry (which includes lunches and open bar) plus five hotel nights for $239, no resort fee. That’s a bargain for just the room... and to have a chance to win big at the bingo tournament makes this a phenomenal deal.

Xothan was kind enough to let me come over to Sam’s Town to do my laundry (finally! Lol). So we’ll be doing that tomorrow and some bowling as well.

Not much else to add right now. I’m beat, so I’m going to KO. Come tomorrow morning, I’ll have lots to do like switching my flight home, planning out the next six days, and telling my loved ones that I’ve extended my trip.

    This TR ain’t over yet!

@NFC Are those 5 nights also in the Luxe room at the Plaza? If so, that's a deal too good to pass up. Even, if not, that's awesome that you get an extra 5 nights.

I think you will enjoy the Super Bingo. Buy extra cards, it is the only way you can win. Don't forget they have continental breakfast both mornings.

Just stayed in the ridiculously large suite a couple of months ago. There is a safe in the second bedroom's bathroom. I don't remember if there was one in the Master Bath though. I think you're right about that. Of course nothing in the 1/2 bath.

@notfromconcentrate You are literally the first person who has written about a trip to Laughlin that has made me question my decision to stay away. That's saying a lot! Thanks for sharing all of this. It's not an easy task, but much appreciated.

Gary was able to hook it up... getting to stay in the exact same room. Definitely happy about that, and greatly appreciative :)

That’s what I’ve heard. Out of these options, what do you think I should go for?

Continental breakfast - good mention, I just noticed that in the itinerary. Between included lunch and breakfast, it seems this will be a pretty low-cost extension overall!

I had exactly $1,380 coming down, which was reserved for gaming, tips, anything extra at the Sapphire pool (sure as hell not using a card at a strip club), and most expenses under $20.

I’ve got about $30 or $40 left in my money clip, going to be taking out $500 later today.

Works out to about $100 of cash expenses per day, considering this is day #13.
