    My Trip Report

Updates coming after I finally sleep, been up 33 hours so far (up since Wed 7/31 9am)
Made sterling in a day on a miraculous 2 night comped, paid upgrade, to a 1BR Cosmo Terrace Fountain view.

Spent last night (7/31) at CAL for a 23 Hour stay, just returned to LA area at 5:30 pm, after a 6 hour drive due to traffic slowdowns around Baker (Truck was on fire on 15 Vegas
    bound).
Normally we carefully time avoiding traffic and do it in 4.

Got to meet @EastCoastVegasFan! for a fun day Wednesday., I believe we still beat him home door to door vs his ~4 hour flight that departed 2:30 PM PST.

We have enough stories from that day for a dedicated shared trip report of our first Fremont Craps Run (it was 3 of us, me, A.D., my gf P, and @EastCoastVegasFan! , look for it coming soon, there are guaranteed great photos that will make their way up there soon.

Delays may occur: due to 48 hours sleeping catching up, and deciding whether to fully format Pix w. descriptive wordiness, or do one first then the other.

more preview hints from other threads:
@EastCoastVegasFan! you got any recs on strip side $5 tables? gonna be at Cosmo, prob checking at Cromwell, Linq, Harrahs. Hope I don't get drunk enough to play high min at cosmo.

btw on my last night I unfortunately did get drunk enough to try $15 min craps tables at Cosmo, which I had hoped would not happen... It did not end well and I did not win large amounts of money, which I initially agreed with when the box man told me I would "win 50% faster vs $10 min."

my personal strategy is be drunk, play low denom, 10 hands, throw money in that you are willing to lose, hope for the best, and get out if you catch a good one.
^^^This guy knows how to play Ultimate X.

the current over/under on this no sleep run is 48 hours. The under appears likely.

Yes, as of yesterday, Boyd system still provides absolutely no information at all to BConned Players, nothing, no point value totals, no points accrued, no session accrual, no tier level, not by asking anyone at the players club, pit bosses, not at the BC machines you may swipe, not on individual machines.

I believe someone mentioned point info being available online via the website or mobile App,
thanks to Boyds great change of two additional prefix letters to your existing account, unfortunately for me, this required me to re-enter my auto saved password, which I had locked via iphone touch ID. I did not remember it.
This does appear to be true, at home I can see the values, both on website and phone app. I will assume that is correct until proven otherwise- Will update if info is not current.

    Day 1 :
Rolled out early, made the drive in under four hours, thanks to heads up on Cosmo checkin, stalled out at South Point until 3ish:

Share one of the famous hot dogs when the cart opens (limit 3 sign - must be good), and play the nearby bench seating Wonka machine with P, see tons of minigames on first $20/100, see why people (Hoofy?) like it.

Spotted this progressive (fattly 4oak AWAK) at a Hot Rod VP Bank.

around 2:30 or 3ish, head over to Cosmo, head to the Invited Guest line since it was a comped studio terrace room, the suggested upgrade to same fountain view room is not available, so we "reluctantly" have to take upgrade to high floor (thanks to whoever it was who gave checkin late vs early -because they clean from bottom up- advice) 1 br terrace fountain view for $65 a night. Room is, as expected, "ALLL THAT, and a bag of chips".

    Admired the room,
    VegasJul29-Aug1- 272.JPG
Checked out the snacks and minibar,
    VegasJul29-Aug1- 273.JPG
    VegasJul29-Aug1- 119.JPG

    then gasped at the prices.
    VegasJul29-Aug1- 121.JPG

(don't remember all these prices, except that this bottle of Seagrams 7 was $4.99 at South Point, and the Hen was a nice price too.)
    VegasJul29-Aug1- 178.JPG

    and headed out,

but P has caught "Vegas Stomach", which I have even at home, but she never used to get, which is when you have very little appetite because time spent eating is not time spent gambling.. Grab two sliders at District Donuts, I have never seen anyone work a grill so masterfully as the poor guy making two tiny sliders for us to eat. Delicious and we couldn't even finish the fries between us both.

(oops, some things will be out of order)
(this was last hit at South Point)
Did I mention P is a Slot Beast?
She floated along up and down after that 4OAK, then $20 in:

We were thoroughly afeard of Cosmo taking our $$$ before we even got started, so decided to lyft to the Flamingo side of the strip and walk our way back through (Ceasarsville )(ElDoradoVille now?)

Mostly went around looking for $5 craps (not a single $5 nor 10 to be found on a Monday night, $15s min available) and Slots that struck P's fancy. We walked a lot and only played a little. High point was decor of Cromwell, (++), P doing OK on slots IIRC and P pulling me out of a boring bubble craps hole at the Linq (They serve tall cans there too) I still don't get (well kind of do, story next day) why she won't throw with me.
    VegasJul29-Aug1- 127.JPG

Walked and no played (didn't feel em), Flamingo, Planet Hollywood (High limit pleasure pit, ridiculously loud dancing girl nonsense by the entrance, saw an awful lot of kids, like, middle schoolers in apparently, a group trip), speaking of which, also saw a bunch of Pageant females of all ages and sizes in South Point, like the jackpots, minis, minors, and majors, (did not see Grand)

Planned to hit up Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips :feedme:but degenned past dinner, in fact degenned:beer: :poker::grrr::drunk:so hard, we missed the fountain view...:bang:
    VegasJul29-Aug1- 134.JPG

In retrospect, walk less, eat the Fish & Chips. (We had a late start due to check in time and weren't hungry yet) And $15 min craps tables can be just as easily found at cosmo - though they may be a little difficult to find at night.

I love the Art-o-Matic! Those are a must-do for me each trip. I usually get earrings for my teenager.

Decide its time to give cosmo some play. Get a late 1ish start, get some drinks, and start slotting.
Donk off a few hundred, slowing down and looking for fun machines.

Schlep up 2 drinks in one hand, a water, a slice, and a salad in the other, to the room, where P has been chilling out, saying she isn't hungry yet from an earlier quit:
It was a pretty difficult walk from one tower to the other, felt like a wobbly inebriated juggler.
