Just checked into the Luxor using the VIP checkin. There wasn’t another person in there except us and the lady at the counter. Went smooth and fast. I also had the taxi driver drop us off at the North Entrance. That worked great. The checkin was just to the right, very close to the West tower elevators

Yeah we usually stop by after our morning walk and grab some pop to mix drinks with, nobody has ever really been in there anytime we have been.

I've paid $35 for VIP Lounge on my 4 comp nights in Dec.

Not expecting much, but thought I could raid it to keep my fridge full of water and soft drinks while I'm there.

I’m not sure about the standard rooms, but I saw one in the premier 1br room they comped me, and even one of the other tower rooms had one, iirc.

Just had a look on the site, and those don't appear to have fridges.

@vegasqc You want the "Tower Elite King", which is essentially the regular tower king but with a wet bar and mini fridge.

How do you know if you have VIP check in or is it for certain levels?

VIP is automatic for Platinum and Noir. Penthouse Suite gets it too.
You can also ask your host for it.

I paid $35 as an option when I booked. Thought I might as well, given for some reason I'm comped resort fees, too.

Might be an option if you try modifying your reservation online?

I booked online and paid the 35 dollars for VIP. There are small sodas juices and water. Also coffee. To me it’s definitely worth the money. Don’t have to stand in line and at Vegas prices I easily get my money worth in coffee and other drinks. — The other thing not to forget is to be dropped off at the North Entrance.

Is there a bell desk at that entrance, or is that at the main entrance?

I have to get a mobility scooter dropped at the Luxor, as that's my first hotel this year. I don't want to get dropped in the wrong place, as it'll take me 3 days to walk across the resort on crutches :D

I didn’t see a bell desk but the first thing they asked is if I needed help with my bags. I’m sure if you contacted them they could have the scooter at the North Entrance

I'll leave that as a note on the form with the company. Thanks :)

I used the vip lounge last month. (Platinum)
The look on the ladys face was awesome when me and the wife rolled in there around 11am, got a coffee in 1 in 1 of those Pod machines, and i said could a take a "few soda's to our room" to which she replied OK......
I pulled a bag out of my shorts and loaded up quite a few cans and waters (just for the sake of it! :D :D ) , she laughed, but she probably just though "tight ass brit!" :D . Did the same in the vip lounge in Excalibur (next to starbucks), its like an office in there, but hijacked a few more cans ! :D
