Beginning July 30, your B Connected account number will have 2 characters added to the beginning.

Don’t worry, your original number won’t change. We’re simply adding characters to the beginning of your account number to prepare for our newest B Connected destinations joining our Loyalty Program. Plus, your current B Connected card and PIN number will still work.

That's pretty funny, but seriously, the timing seems dumb. First you change the program that creates an uproar among your customer base. At least the ones that matter... we VMBers! Then come back relatively soon to make even MORE changes? Of course this change means nothing, but why risk alienating even more folks?

I'm wondering if this isn't so they can merge in some of the recently purchased properties easier. They are still using mychoice for hotel reservations at belterra even though the casino has went to stand alone bconnected.

I never get emails from Boyd even though I can see they have my correct email address. I have the same message when I log in but mine says "starting June 30". Strange, since the message didn't appear until a couple of days ago. Boyd really needs to get it together.

I probably got an e-mail too but they probably sent it to my OLD ONE!!

I mentioned earlier that I've been trying for the last million years to have them change it to my new one but every time I try the old one still pops up.

I admire them for being so messed up. I doubt anybody can beat them to that.

I didn't get anything extra either but I didn't earn it so I guess that's normal for player's clubs. I'm sapphire so I don't care about more tier credits until after next year.

Ameristar Kansas City, for example. When I was there in June I had to sign-up for B-Connected and got a Ruby card, but the boothling said that the transition would occur in July and that shortly thereafter, my points earned in KC would be applied to my master account.
