Work trip turned vacation turned work trip back to vaca. Maybe slot pic heavy without much content.

So, I was in Vegas for a work trip that was supposed to be followed up with a Vegas vacation. I came out Monday morning but didn't think anyone would be interested in in my vegas work trip report, lol.

I was supposed to start my vacation on Thursday night after work but unfortunately Thursday morning I get a text telling me that I have to go to Seattle to work for 4 hours on Friday morning. At this point, I’m not thrilled, but it’s kinda part of my job. Knowing that nothing ever goes as planned, I book.

I book the last flight to Seattle out and the last flight back to Vegas which is apparently 9ish with southwest both ways. Luckily I’m a list preferred with SW so can book standby on the fly which has worked out well for me lately. End up getting the 1pm flight out to SEA instead of the red eye out and squeezed in the the 230 flight back instead of the 9pmer, it couldn’t have worked out better. Keep in mind, I have a comp room w/FP at Cromwell for Thursday night-Monday.

Thankfully, I stop by CW on Thursday morning at 10am and they allow me early check in. I drop my main bag in the room and throw some overnight work shit and clothes in my backpack. I manage to get myself on the earlier flight out so that I don’t have to take the red eye out to SEA being that I have to be at my best and present at 8AM. Got my business taken care of and manage to take the earlier 230pm flight back to Vegas, “barely”.

Right now I’m on my flight, hoping that my room at CW is still active and left alone. I did opt out of housekeeping anyways. Past experience tells me that security will be pounding on my door @10am for a “security/safety check” anyways tomorrow morning. I’m now officially on my earlier standby flight back to Vegas and should land in about an hour. FYI, Alist preferred boards BEFORE family boarding on SW even if you have “c59”.

I was able to collect my 375 FP when I first checked in so that is waiting in my room for me pending that security hasn’t already checked me out for not being there as it’s been over 24 hours since I’ve been there and I’ve been to Seattle and back, lol. I’ll let y’all know what happens when I get back.

Grabbing a quick pizza (first thing I’ve had to eat today) over at the eatwell Cromwell. Thinking about heading over to Cosmo after this. Have about 1700 points to the level after sterling to make.

 

Grabbed a couple of slices at CW then made my way to cosmo for some “kitty city” and not to bad so far...
