I've been to the D's Jokester's several times, but unfortunately they keep the same headliner - so that got boring real quick. I'm ecstatic that the Plaza has opened their gorgeous showroom to comedy! My hubs and I love a comedy show. It's usually a good time and you just never know what you're going get. I was super bummed when A Mob Story cut out of there because I loved it and more than that...I adore this theatre! We will be giving it a try in September. We'll be at their 3rd show ever! Oh and btw, $20 for general admission!

DTG recently opened a comedy club also. Have not been though.

I tried this the last time they did it. It was next to what used to be the gift shop behind the Art Bar. It was a joke - and not in a good way. Hopefully this time will be better. Know what they are charging?

Interesting. I went to fake "book" and they were $20 + the normal associated fees. I will be there on Sat. Sept. 14th if my flight cooperates! You can't really fault the venue if the comedian isn't to your liking. I just love that theatre so much I can't imagine not being happy, but I'll report my findings when I return.
