MyVegas Never Used a Reward, but have TONS of Chips! Please Help!

I have been a MyVegas player for almost 4 years, I have generated almost a million chips! I also have been to Vegas 6 times in the past 4 years and never used any!lol The problem is, I never see anything I like or they are sold out. Also, I never stay at MGM properties, not because I don't like them, I just always choose a CET property or the Wynn. Now, I feel the offers are harder to use then 4 years ago! They changed it, so you can only use some rewards if you stay at an MGM property This is where I need your help...

What is the best reward for me to use for my upcoming trip? What is the biggest bang for your buck?

I have already seen Beatles Love three times, so I don't need to use chips on tickets for that...but would consider Zumanity or Ka...this is a solo trip fyi.

Crazy question, but do I cancel my Wynn reservation and book a 2 Night Comp at one of the MGM resorts?! That seems a little absurd to me because I'm sure you don't get to pick your room and I would want something more then a basic room they would offer.

I don't mind walking to use a restaurant or drink reward so I'm open to that suggestion.

I wish the Sadelle's reward was a little better then $10. I mean that is barely even a deal when you have to spend $50!

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestion it would be greatly appreciated! Also, don't suggest anything that probably isn't available!lol I don't want to get my hopes up!

 

The MyKonami $25 Freeplay comes to mind if you aren't staying at a MGM property. Get 1 for 3 different casinos and call it a day.

 

Are you traveling solo? Are you an "eater"?

If not, you could take one or two people to the Camelot Steakhouse at Excalibur and take the $100 off $200 or if eating solo, the $50 off $100. This reward does NOT require a stay.

There's always booking one of the comp stays to enable you to use the food rewards.

Otherwise, I have no suggestions.

 

I was having the same dilemma as I managed to get enough gems on Wynnslots to get 4 free nights... one thing that you could consider would be to book a room offer (2 night Park MGM for instance or one night at another cheap MGM property) and not even stay there! You would still have to check in and pay the resort fee, but you don’t need to stay there - stay at Wynn as planned! It goes without saying that you would need to really maximize your “stay required” rewards to justify spending real $$ on the resort fee.

We considered this and ultimately decided against it, but it’s almost worth it, depending on the rewards you’re considering.

 

Can you elaborate on this MyKonami? This is in MyVEGAS? I hear people talk of this, but is it in the rewards section? Where do I click to see/buy this?

The rewards continue to get worse and worse.. but I always said as long as I can get a free buffet then it is worth it.
Now it requires you to stay at an MGM casino just to get the buffet so currently I am in the same boat.. I have no idea how to spend my points.

 

I'm super confused. The mobile app shows me the same rewards as the Facebook version. And the only thing I can see related to casino play is Luxor and Park MGM $15 and $25 match play. No Freeplay at all.

 

So, I allowed the mykonami app to see my location, reopened the app and suddenly all the freeplay options are there. Wow.

 

Lucky you! I did everything: Allowed to see my location, blocked to see my location, reinstalled, turned it to the left three times during a rising full moon - nothing. No konamy freeplay for me. Only matchplay...

 

If I never saw KA i'd see KA i guess. But i was really impressed by LOVE when I saw it on my last trip. KA is a good though and seems to be an overall favorite amoung the masses.

 

Do the mykonami freeplay.

Never seen it sold out. And you arent being nudged to spend on a MLIFE room, eat somewhere you wouldn't, or pretend a glorified half off coupon is a reward.

They aren't the most "efficient", but they are a hard comp, and you don't have to keep checking for a refresh.

 

Very weird.
Even though I realize there is some learning curve to using these apps and getting the rewards, they sure don't make it easy or obvious. I also don't understand the different scales for the different apps in terms of LP accrual and also the different rewards available.
