Episode Six of our moving to Vegas VLOG, and the last in the series that corresponds to this Trip Report. We get the keys to our apartment and my first handpay.

I enjoyed the Vlog. Are you moving to Vegas for a job or some other reason?

We like the area and want a change of scenery, I have lived in the NE my whole life and want to try another part of the country. I normally work from home 2 days a week currently, so was able to switch to full time remote in my current job.

Is there anything for sale with any acreage outside of Vegas? Or is it all small lots that are too expensive to buy large quantities of? We have discussed moving out west once my husband retired to get out of the snow, but I don’t think I can handle not having acreage.

Most of the new developments are small lots. Older homes usually have larger lots. I believe you can get more acreage in other areas of the Valley, just not where we are looking.
