Netflix or other Streaming Service- What 'Cha Watch'in?

Just my opinion, but after S4, things do drop off quite a bit... but S4 is simply incredible - the best of the series - so almost anything after that would've been a let-down.

 

jimmy smits is the show killer. lithgow was great.

I don't know if he won an Emmy for that performance, but he certainly should have!

ETA - ...as a matter of fact, just talking about here has inpsired me to go back & re-binge S4!

 

lately ive been watching hinterland (i an a british cop show addict) in terms of setting it's an obvious comparison to shetland, but id say the best comparison is wallander.
id give the slight nod to wallander but hinterland is good, id give it a 86/100.

 

There was a good one on starring Gillian Anderson chasing down a Belfast serial killer. The Fall. I liked it.

 

i watched the first season of the Fall, very good. still haven't caught the subsequent seasons.

 

Lies, deception, murder. Don't want to give it away. Good story.

 

ozark is very good, not great. like a poor man's breaking bad. moves a little too fast and could do more character development. but still very good.
and bateman can definitely do serious. he's in one of my favorite movies, the Gift. highly recommend it.

just finished season 1 of the tunnel. thought it was very good. debating going on to season 2 or watching stranger things season 3 and/or dark season 2. probably will stick with the tunnel for now but will obviously get those two at some point.

Started Dead to Me last night.

 

I just checked... Lithgow did, indeed, win the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series in 2010 for his role as Arthur Mitchell in Season 4 of Dexter.
Well-deserved!

 

We just wrapped up Hinterland. Gotta admit, it looks like everyone in Wales is always cold and lives in houses that were built centuries ago....or maybe built decades ago and have gone to seed.

 

Convinced the wife to watch Stranger Things, so we're starting over at Season One.

Started this one today. If I look past the bad accents, I really like it.

Ugh. I was trying to find some shit to download for my Vegas trip in a few weeks and decided to preview that Scorsese film about Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Review...two and a half hours later, it’s 2 am, I’m drunk AF and I have one less option for in flight entertainment!
