    My Trip Report

2A4FF4E9-53F2-4AFE-A3CC-E89DD39BEC40.jpeg 2677C71D-3CA1-4ADC-B242-F524B952A8B8.jpeg C81340E9-3572-48E1-ABD4-EF94C641C86B.jpeg So I thought I’d give blogging my trip a go. I’ve previously done it for Disney holidays in the past and they are known for being long! (You have been warned :p)

Introductions there’s me MrsO in my mid 30s stay at home mum to our 3 little :wink2: Nearly 5, 3 & 1. They are definitely a handful but I wouldn’t change them.
This is my 3rd trip to Vegas 1st time my eldest was 12 weeks old and we tagged along on hubby’s business trip. 2nd trip I was pregnant with my second and had gestational diabetes so no booze, no sugar & no carbs  so this I feel is my first trip where I can fully take advantage of what Vegas has to offer

Accompanying me on this trip is MrO my darling husband. He’s been to Vegas a lot it’s his favourite place. This time he’s not getting to leave me behind ;)

The plans BA flight out of Heathrow tomorrow, cheeky upgrade to 1st class to
Then check in to the Aria skysuites for 8 nights. Neither of us have stayed here before. MrO is a big fan of the skylofts but couldn’t get in for the first 3 nights and we don’t like to hotel hop, I like to unpack & settle in moving is just stressful for me who does all the packing & unpacking.

What to expect from our trip. Lots of food returning to some favourites & checking out some new ones. Lots of wine & cocktails.
A few shows booked, used myVEGAS to do Shark Reef & secret garden.
There will I imagine be some gambling MrO is a craps fan and I like the slots.
    Likely be lots of shopping.

I will attempt to keep this live as I can.

This mummy has also been primped & prepped. Hair dyed, waxed & Nails all ready. As a mum of 3 little ones booking in time for these appointments was a big luxury for me :) I have also been on a diet and have managed to loose 2 stone :woohoo:I am rather proud of myself but diet will be on hold while we are away and then will get back on it once im home. How much will I gain back in Vegas do we think :feedme:

    +so1gJZnRuOVVs1segGa3Q.jpg

Im not packed and we get picked up in 16 hours and id like to get a nights sleep in that. I did start packing in the week but this one wanted to help :rolleyes2:

So while I would have liked to spend the day packing and getting ready it was a day of toddler groups and sports day. Now to get the kids to bed so I can get on and pack. What time do we think ill be getting to bed tonight :(

I am not one to gush over other peoples kids but your kiddos decked out in those thing 1-3 shirts are adorable! (I'm a huge Dr. Seuss fan)

Gees, my wife and I have no kids and still stay up most the night when packing for a trip so I can't imagine there is any hope for you...LOL.

I always tell myself I’ll be organised and not leave it till the last night but I always do!

I’m excited Aria looks lovely. It was me that pushed for it so hope it’s ok or it will all be my fault lol

Have a great Vegas adult vacation! You deserve it! We used to do Vegas a lot in our 20s, then started our family in our 30s and had three back-to-back kiddos.

Very similar to you, I did a Vegas trip with my eldest when she was 11 weeks old, then the next trip I was pregnant with #2 so no booze, said forget it after those two trips and had a LONG 7 year hiatus from Vegas. Glad to be back in the Vegas ring these past 5 years.

Cute kids! Miss mine being that young...and then I don't! LOL! So awesome you're able to get away as a couple.

    Enjoy!

Thank you. part of me can’t wait till they are bigger and then part of me wants them to stay little forever.

My parents live with us so the kids are used to them being around plus my mil has come to stay to do nursery/school runs etc. Will be pretty normal routine for them. My eldest keeps asking if we can stay for longer so she gets more time with her nannies :(
Thank you looks can be deceiving they are little monsters when they want to be :wink2:

Shock horror we were all packed and in bed by midnight :woot:

So now for the restless nights sleep worrying about all the things I’ve forgotten, over sleeping and missing flight you know the drill.
On the upside my kids will not allow me to sleep in and taxi isn’t picking us up till 11am so we should be good :)

How long is your flight @MrsOooteedee? We drive a total of 12 hours, so we might as well come from across the pond. LOL.

She's 7 hours ahead of MDT (where I live), so hopefully she's getting some rest now cause she probably won't get much while in Vegas.

It’s a 10 hour flight plus drive to airport is an hour an half. So long day of travelling. My son woke me up at 6am which is a lie in from the normal 5am.

Not so worried about the flight today I may get a chance to read a book or watch a film uninterrupted  flying long haul with the 3 things is challenging to say the least but we love to travel so don’t let the kids stop us!

I do wish driving was a possibility rather than the flight!

6.30am here in the uk don’t get picked up till 11am which is quite early but there have been some serious accidents recently on the roads around the airport causing massive delays so would rather be there to early than run into a problem than cut it close and miss the flight!

I’m a nervous traveller and rushing just adds to the stress. Plus plenty of nice shops at the airport I’m sure I can keep myself occupied ;)

As someone who has had a few ten day stays in the Aria Sky Suites I want to give you a tip on something I learned quickly. There is an amazing lounge only for the Sky Suite guests where you get pastries, fruit, coffee etc in the morning and wine and cheese in the evening. There are unlimited beverages available as well - juice, soda, water etc. The beverages are stored in refrigerators located under the counter where the snacks are placed. It has been my experience that you should grab whatever water, juice etc you want for your room and bring it upstairs because in the evenings after the attendants leave, all of the Sky Suite guests will grab anything that is not nailed down and the refrigerators will be stripped of all beverages! The first time I stayed there I found out the hard way when I swung by one night after heading back from dinner intending to grab a water and there was nothing left.

Have a fantastic trip and win big!

P.S. Blossom, the Chinese restaurant located right near the Sky Suite entrance is phenomenal. There is a Thai restaurant called Lemongrass right there as well but I am not a fan of Thai food so I can't give an opinion!
