There are the STANDARD VEGAS SONGS for me ---
    Most mentioned above
    .
But over the many , many Vegas Trips -
There seems to be some song ( usually piped in to the Casino )
that STICKS in my brain after that particular trip.
And I don't have to actually like it .......it gets STUCK in my brain after that trip.
    I can remember Michelle Branch's - " You're Everything To Me " or was it ?
" You're Every WHERE to me " ? ............ya see ?......I didn't care about it ......but it got STUCK !!!!
That song seemed to be played over + over in the casino that trip.
And if I hear it.......?......hardly ever, now ?......but it brings me right back, in an instant, to Gold Coast casino floor !
Which is the GREAT thing about it !!!!!.........not the song............I relive the WHOLE vibe in a moment.......love it !!!!
    .
I remember some Sheryl Crow songs.........."Leaving Las Vegas " and " Soak Up The Sun "
STUCK !........and played over + over again.
    .
I saw " Jersey Boys " at Venetian ..........Frankie Valli got STUCK !!......that trip.

Anything by Prince, not sure why. I remember all those years ago staying at Mandalay and you could see the Prince symbol on the Rio. Of course now I kick myself for not going to see him then.

Whatever the song is for the music the machine plays at Main Street Station when you hit the Royal and are waiting for the handpay.

Pretty much any tune with "Vegas" or even anything remotely related to Vegas in the lyrics reminds me of Sin City. :D A lot of songs from the shows and concerts that I've seen in Vegas, always brings back memories from those trips. I've seen LOVE so many times that those Beatles song always reminds me of Vegas whenever I here them. LOL

OMG that trip report is gold. Comedy to aspire to.. so many quotable lines, and TIL: the "Vegas Shocker"
I think I'll think of that report now every time I hear that song..

This year's song? "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon. Heading into this weekend, I wasn't for or against these guys. I had no opinion. Within 25 hours in Vegas? I hate them with every fiber in my body. We get it, Kings of Leon: You could use sum-BAH-dayyyyyy. Heard you loud and clear. And I understand you're hoping it's someone like you, someone like you, someone like you … believe me, I hope you find this person. Because if you don't, I'm going to kill everyone in a 25-foot vicinity. Now go away.

Poison by Bell Biv Devoe. Because it was playing when me and my brother hit a huge buy 4 & 10 craps heater at the Golden Gate. We got one number up so high, $1,600 I think, that the box man acted like our last hit was a place bet not a buy. We played it off great, told him to check with the dealer who had it as a buy all the way up to that point, then ignored him and sipped our drink. It was awesome. As to the song, I had no idea what it was or by whom. I just remembered the distinctive drum beat. I asked my brother what the song was the next day and he told me, first I'd heard of it. Love that we made the box man so nervous with our press.

So spin that wheel, cut that pack,
    And roll those loaded dice.
    Bring on the dancing girls,
And put the champagne on ice.
    I'm goin' in.
    To Sin City.
    I'm gonna win!

Another vote for Mr. Sinatra and Luck Be A Lady. I actually got to hear him sing that to us live in Las Vegas, about twenty feet in front of us. He was older then and his voice was fading, but still electrifying. It’s been my Vegas anthem ever since. I refuse to consider anyone else as Frank’s equal.

For some reason I always think of Las Vegas whenever I hear “Hey, Big Spender.” I wish they were singing to me. Sadly, no man of distinction here.

Well, I should add “Mr. Bojangles” as always making me think about Las Vegas because I saw Sammy Davis, Jr. sing and dance it live there. And then I had the great good fortune to see Danny Gans do his impression of it to end his show at the Mirage. I always thought Gans was both the greatest impressionist ever and the best solo headliner Vegas show I’d ever seen. I can’t hear the song without thinking of Las Vegas and those two magnificent performances. I liked Gans’ impression of Mr. Davis every bit as much as the original. When the lights went down my skin tingled. Vegas, baby!

I'll be Mr. Obvious Man: "Viva Las Vegas"! Also agree with some of the earlier posts about Sinatra's "Luck be a Lady".

Any rendition of Funiculì, Funiculà, 'cuz I always associate it with waiting at the bag claim at McCarran upon arrival.
