Gambling for this Vegas trip is over, except the traditional $20 at the airport. Cashed out a $100 profit on the TDB play. Total trip i padded the bankroll by $1,820. Once i get home I’ll give a coin in summary for anyone who is interested and final thought.

Thank you for following the stream of pics and my attempts at humor.

McCarran is such a happy place when arriving. Not quite the same energy on the way out. So sad to be leaving when there is so much more gambling available. It’s going to be a long 3 months.

The only thing worse than leaving Vegas is being stuck at the airport longer due to a flight delay. I could have gambled more. Come on Jet Blue, how important is the landing gear really? Let’s go, I need to sleep.

Home safe and sound. Only lost the traditional $20 at the airport. I did see a guy hit a $1 royal at the airport on some horrible deuces wild game He seemed pretty happy. Best time to hit is on the way out. It was a long flight and the 1 1/2 hour delay did not help. Maybe got a couple hours sleep so dragging this afternoon. Need to stay up late enough to take the kids to the fire works. I had planned on making a stop at Encore Boston Harbor but the delayed flight and exhaustion level changed that plan. I'll save that for a future report.

I started the trip with $1,000 and had another $2,500 available if needed. Thankfully an ATM visit was not required. The Vue Bar was my ATM. Came home with $2,820. I only paid for food at the airport on the way home. All meals were covered by comps or coupons. I keep my tip money separate from the gambling bankroll. I think I dropped about $200 on tips for meals, drinks, drivers, housekeeping, etc.

    Coin-in totals below:
The D = $31,505 (combined VP and Slots)
    4 Queens = $20,120
    Golden Gate = $1,310
    Cosmo = $2,082
El Cortez = $83 (running through my accumulated quarters 3-4 times)

I was worried I might have underplayed at The D but I think these numbers will be fine (as long as they don't penalize me for winning)

It was a good trip and I am already planning the next one for 9/29 thru 10/4. Booked 9/29 thru 10/1 at Wynn with slot app gems. Might try 4 Queens next trip if they send me free room nights, otherwise back to the D.

Thanks again for following, commenting, etc. and looking forward to reading trip reports for the next 3 months.

Solid Gold was bottle at Vue Bar. I was also able to get the Solid Gold on the floor downstairs in bottle. They have a better selection downstairs at Long Bar but no games worth playing. I did not see it on draft.

I just had to chime in. My wife and I were chasing the same Straight Flush. The lady to your right hit it, then I believe you hit yours almost immediately afterwards. I was the culprit who hit the Royal shortly thereafter down at the end of the bar. It was dealt to me. We were watching you take all the photos but never imagined the kind of streak you were on. Congratulations and I wish I would have known you were posting to the board.

dang, looks like I need to back off DDB and give bonus a chance (at least at vue), and nice final aggro stab into TDB (where were those machines?), I guess I need to look into the differences w DDB unless tring wants to sum it up.

There is a bank of 8 machines in front of the check in desk. I believe all 8 have 9/6 TDB @ $.50. The best DDB is 9/5. This bank has some 7/5 BP $.25 progressives but the better play is upstairs. They have 8/5 BP @$.50 as well. I'll be honest I don't fully know TDB strategy. I just like to take a run at it to see if I can hit a quick premium quad. Plus, BP gets boring.

Congrats on your royal. I think the royal was hit 4 times on Tuesday. Not sure I have seen it go that frequently. Hope you had good luck while you where there.

Close to $54k coin-in for a 5 day trip and you came home up $1820 while only using your $1000 bankroll....you sir are the man. With that kind of play what kind of comps can you get at the D?

Per month i get 4 free nights, $75 fsp, $50 MP and $50 food. I have not figured out the play level to get the mailers to go up. I have pretty much been getting the same every time which is fine. Waiting to see what 4Qs will send after two solid days of play.
