If I would've only used my money to buy CZR stocks instead of using it to gamble at Caesar's properties all these years....

Considering how many times CET has filed for bankruptcy in the last few years, yeah, not so much.

Heard from some Eldorado bigwigs that they will bring their decentralized model to CZR. For us as players, that means unique marketing departments. They view an opportunity to rebrand each individual property and for each property to have their own identity. This makes sense. Under CZR, marketing offers are bundled and are good at almost all of their properties. I mean they are right in a way. There is no difference whether you stay at PH, Paris, Harrahs or Flamingo. Smart on their part.

That could be a negative development for the player who likes to walk the strip, and spread out their play between, say, Harrahs, Linq, Paris, Planet Hollywood, etc. While potentially a positive development for the player who likes to spend the majority of his or her time and one homebase.

Yeah, for CZR, the beauty of it is in your ability to sleep in one property but gamble across all of them. If I'm going to stay in one, then VP / Wynn / MGM are the way to go because there's so much to do...

They could also treat that as a region. It's probably fairer to say they operate as regions. E.g. they've been billing the Reno 3 casinos as "the Row" and marketing them as an integrated entity.

I doubt they would split Vegas up to a drastic extent

Amazing that these companies are rich enough to come in and buy out caesars. That is one heck of a lot of money. You know its not their last penny too so its just going to be another line entry on their spreadsheet.

man, that is a world I simply have not and never will live in.

Where you can buy something for $18 billion? Not too many people can.

I see it more likely they go to a model like Mlife.

The earn rate for Eldorado is double what CET is. Using Eldorado Shreveport as an example, $10 coin-in slots = 1 Tier Point. $20 coin-in VP = 1 Tier Point. Table games are based on game, bet & time played.

I think that was my point since 25k is the full benefits of the top tier not requiring an invitation and 15k is at eldorado with a double earning rate, it really is pretty damn close to earn rate and tier status ratio.

It takes alot more gambling with Eldorado to get to their 15k TC than to get to CET 15k TC. All Eldorado TCs are from gambling. With CET, you can get TCs from hotel spending, F&B spending, daily TC bonus, and various TC promotions. Also, the Eldorado One Club is based on a rolling 12 months vs CET's calendar year.

$10 coin = 1 TC and double that for VP coin with the "One" club. But what does a tier credit get you beyond advancement? It might take more coin to earn a tier, but isn't that tier worth a nickle in rewards dollars?

CET has $5 coin = 1 TC & 1 RC. Double the coin for VP as well. If I play $10 in coin on a slot, I get 2 pennies in reward credits. With Eldorado, don't I earn 5 cents with each point? 100 credits earned, is $5.00 in reward credits. That is on $1,000 coin on slots. Total Rewards is $1,000 coin = $2.00 in RC, or just $1.00 if you want free play instead.

I sure hope they take the "One" club way, Total Rewards was always a scam for comps on play with the card
