Gary - I booked an Aug 1 - Aug 3 stay with Curt with the understanding that I’d be aiming to meet with him in the early evening on Saturday the 3rd. Should I then try to line this up with you instead now?

 

Gary did PM me EARLIER this morning. He was extremely apologetic and I think overwhelmed with trying to take care of everyone including those that were dealing with Curt. I’m going keep a line of communication with him in hopes of a great outcome. I’ll keep the thread apprised.

Of course I am not going until Sept. 3rd but I would love to see everyone's room pictures and to hear about the stay.

 

I'm sure there will be lots of reviews about their stay in the Luxe rooms.

this may have been answered before, but are we supposed to be paying resort fee for this offer?
my understanding was no, but my confirmation email shows a resort fee.

 

Curt said no resort fee on the comp night but yes resort fee on the half price nites if u purchased extra nites.....i didnt receive a confirmation email so it was my intention to call and ask soon.

Because Curt is no longer at the Plaza, perhaps @PlazaPoker can chime in here to make 100% certain what everyone was told still holds true.

 

There will be no resort fees on comped rooms. What Curt Said still holds true

Thanks to Gary. Emailed him a request and my info couple of days ago, he responded by text last night said no problem. Have the luxe room comped one night mid August. Worked out perfect--had comps on all nights for upcoming trip except for Wedneday. Really looking forward to spending time at the Plaza. Last trip I had a comp at GG but spent most of my time in Plaza. That was Feb 2018, they were still working on the casino(laying fresh carpet) at the time was amazed at the improvements, much better lay out and video poker payouts. Will post complete review of room and casino after trip.

 

What amount of slot play is required to get the offer?

 

We are confirmed in a Luxe room for 7/23. Gary said it would be ready. We might be the first people to actually stay in a Luxe room. Hope so, really looking forward to it.
They have a nice “up” to 10x slot play multiplayer going on Sundays and we dropped in for awhile. Planning on more concentrated play later and on Tuesday when we are staying and dining at Oscar’s, which we love.
Gary is graciously going to meet to get our opinion, which will based on an hour in the room before we head to the lounge and then Oscar’s for dinner. We already love Oscar’s—the steaks are fabulous and the service is professional, attentive, and very friendly.
I will take and post badly out-of-focus pictures for upload if I can understand the simple instructions. I may throw caution to the winds and try to make a video unless I injure myself in the attempt.

 

Well.
Came to check in to Luxe room and have been given a Pool Patio room. No Luxe.
As far as I know am still scheduled to talk to Gary at 5:00 tonight. Not sure what I am supposed to be reviewing as far as a Luxe room goes. Maybe I can get a tour.
Pool Patio room is very nice.
