Is Caesars properties the only ones that count odds bets toward ADT. Or does Venetian, Cosmo, mlife etc count them also?
A pit boss at Caesars Atlantic city told me that they do NOT count craps odds bets towards ADT. However, I have read on message boards that CET properties in Nevada do count it. So I honestly don't know the answer. Keep in mind though, if they count your total bet (i.e. pass line + odds) towards ADT, they will certainly lower the house edge they are assigning to it (like 0.3% instead of 1.41%)
This is an excellent point. The properties that include the odds bet as part of your average are adjusting the theo formula so it comes out the same as though they had not included it
IIRC I was told that Golden Gate does, but I agreee that : I thought my marathon stretches at the craps table would add up, but in 6 hours, my gfs slot (and VP and a little of mine) play gave 10 times the theo. Not that that will stop me from enjoying the dice and the low HA.
Yeah. Casinos absolutely love slots because they don't have to staff them. Slot machines never get sick and never need vacation days. So even with the same Theo, slot players will usually get better offers.
The D (downtown hotel) definitely counts odds. I asked a boxman at Binion's, and he said they count odds too - but take that with a grain of salt.
