Is it just me . . . or . . . . (December 6th weekend rates)

The weekend of December 6th (12/6-12/9) I have the $50 FP offer at all properties, but the only hotel I can get a comp for three nights is the Excalibur. The rest of the properties are "outrageous".

For example all rates are room only and plus resort fees for three nights, 12/6-12/9

    Bellagio - $424
    Aria - $511
    MGM Grand - $438
    Park MGM - $406
Mandalay Bay - No rooms on 12/8
    Mirage - $297
    NYNY - $447
    Luxor - $394
    Excalibur - $199
    Circus Circus - $162.50

I guess I'm lucky to have gotten a comp offer from the Excalibur, or do you think it's taking into account that I've already booked a comp weekend? I don't want to cancel the comp weekend because I may not be able to get it back.

The Excalibur is OK for me, since more than likely I will be traveling solo, and I will (hopefully) have between $1600 and $3200 FP from HGS.

Is anyone else booking for the second HGS weekend and are they seeing any of the "higher level" properties comped?

Why do you have to stay at Mlife? To get the 50 bucks freeplay? CET looks comp friendly 12/6-12/9

I'm probably the only one here who doesn't know what HGS is, but isn't that around rodeo time in Vegas?

The National Finals Rodeo is December 5 to 14.
Amazon re:Invent conference is December 2 to 6. 55,000 to 65,000 attendees with some people likely to stay the weekend, and plenty of people bring friends or spouses too.

Two events that draw a lot of people with potential overlap on that weekend. Room demand will be high for that weekend.

I must stay at mLife because it is a condition of getting my Freeplay.

myVegas (hasn't announced it yet officially) may be supporting the mLife HGS promotion in which you can trade myVegas Loyalty points for HGS points. In the past, the top redemption was for the equivalent of $1600 in Free Play, and you could do it for each of the HGS redemptions. However, a three night stay (exclusive of myVegas comps) is required for each redemption.

I went to Vegas during the rodeo last year, stayed at CET to be fair but all of my room nights were comped as always and I'm by no means a high rolled (or even a slot player for that matter). I didn't attend the rodeo and while it was packed, my calendar didn't show any sort of exorbitant room rates. I think this must be a MLife thing.

I would guess this may be the date/location of one of the Heavyweight Fight rematches - WIlder v Fury or more likely Anthony Joshua v Andy Ruiz Jnr.

2-5 are high for me, but 6-9 seem pretty normal except for 8-10 at MB and Delano which are blacked out.

Re:invent brings in a lot of people sponsored by tech companies with deep pockets, I know they essentially take over Aria, Wynn, Venetian, mirage, mgm, a few more I can’t remember at the moment.

Thanks for the tip! My birthday is that weekend so I just went ahead and booked a room at Caesar's Palace just in case. My CET comps, and the rates, are worse than normal that weekend, but I still had a few properties to choose free. Caesars making me pay for Friday and Saturday but not much. Wednesday the 4th was almost $300 on casino rate for the lowest room! Also the 9th or 10th was outrageous. Oddest thing I saw was P-Ho was free all 4 nights but already showed zero non-smoking rooms available. Wow.

I barely played at CET last year and had an Agustus Room comped at CP during Rodeo last year. I think it's partially because MLife does more partnership with the NFR than CET but that's just from what I saw at each property.

Sorry @DaiLun, I can't help. My current offer only goes through November 30th, so I don't know on those dates.

I'm always on a weird offer schedule compared with everyone else!

To get to the $50 Free Play offer you must:

1)Select the property you want to stay at
2)Click on offers at the top right portion Of the screen

You will then see offers that were not available from the "master" mLife screen.

Try that and see if it works. The offers go well into 2020.

HI DaiLun! I did try the above, but flat dont see a $50 offer.

If it helps I did run 12/6-12/9 for Bellagio, pretty much spot on to the rates you see.

Sorry on not being able to access the $50 offer. I pretty much get one decent size offe per period (plus concerts and tournaments) and that's it..... but I tried!
