Hello, I have a trip coming up this Saturday - Tuesday on comp. Booked it for Paris since it seemed to be the nicest options (room, pool etc) but I also had the option for Bally's ( or Flamingo, Harrhas and Linq but not really interested in those). How would you say a room at Paris compares to one at Bally's? If you stay at Bally's can you use the pool at Paris? Thanks!

    a) staying at a CET property allows you to use any CET property pool....so yes, you can amble over to the Paris pool from Bally's.
    b) We've stayed at Paris multiple times, Bally's once (comped). Being honest, were it not comped, I'd be disappointed.
    c) Paris & Bally's are joined at the hip (indoor walkway w/shops & restaurants), so it's like you're staying at one giant resort.
    d) We've always had great rooms at Paris, nice view, etc.
    e) It's handy to just hop on the elevator, go downstairs, grab a couple of croissants & coffee for breakfast back in the room.
    f) Pool: the Paris pool is more adult (in the sedate sense of the word). If you want to ogle knockers and butt cheeks- go to the Flaming Oh Go-Pool. However, the Bally's pool does have a 'deep end' and is designed more for swimming than spending the day waist deep.

I know some folks love Ballys - but we are totally into Paris vs Ballys. Rooms are not that much different and not the deal breaker/decision. But, the casinos and shops/food options are so much better at Paris. The whole atmospere is cool at Paris vs somewhat boring at Ballys. And if Diamond, have the lounge right there is great as well.

I agree with my previous posters. If the price is the same, there is no way I would pick Bally's over Paris.

The rooms I've had at Paris have definitely been nicer than the rooms I've had at Bally's. Bally's, however, is far from being a dump.

So I've always wondered how the CET pool swapping works. I always stay at there hotels (always been given comps) but have never tried moving around to other pools. I want to go to Caesars pool but online it says they might charge a $20 entry fee, has anyone ever been charged that?

Are the rooms at Bally's much larger then a standard Paris room? I'm arriving late on a Saturday so not expecting any upgrades.

This!! I love staying at Paris because it is so easy to grab my breakfast and get back up to my room with minimal interacting with people before coffee. :)

I love Paris and prefer to stay there over Bally's. Bally's rooms aren't terrible and I enjoy their casino, but Paris gets my vote for the easy croissant/coffee access, the restaurants and I think it's easier to get in an out of the hotel.

We are also fans of Paris. I like the easy access to the pool without going thru the casino. Food options also appeal to us. Have stayed at Ballys as well and was fine, but I will always take Paris over Ballys.

I prefer the hotel rooms at Paris, even though Bally's has upgraded many of their rooms. I like Bally's pool better because of the old-fashioned deep end, which feels cold even in the July heat! Most of all, I can get comped rooms at Ballys pretty much all the time, where getting comped rooms at Paris is more hit-and-miss.

I'm thinking of sticking with Paris! Now last time I was in Vegas (February) they were under remodel. Are all the rooms at Paris the newer Burgundy type or do they still have the old classic and Red rooms? I stayed in a Red room years ago which was ok.

I believe all rooms have been remodeled by now.

We stayed in a Burgundy room, newly renovated, and it was really nice. Lot of room, bathroom was amazing, great shower, huge, and wonderful beds and water pressure.

Guess I am in the minority here.
Ballys standard rooms are larger than Paris--440 sq. ft. v. 390. I really notice it in the bathrooms. I found our Paris bathroom to be snug.
I know all of Ballys rooms are remodeled; I believe Paris is done now too.
Honestly it seems to come down to preferences. NONE of these things are deal breakers for me.
We love the resort (north) tower at Ballys to have easy access out the north door, cross street to venture north Strip; or walk thru the passage to Paris to go south.
We usually have a breakfast bar in the room & get our coffee when we start gambling, so access isn't an issue (but I can see the value of that.)
Casinos & restaurants are irrelevant IMO as I gamble & eat all over. For the most part so are pools--rarely use them, as diamond can use any CET pool, so again, I can choose.
Ballys is nearly always comped for us; Paris more hit & miss. Probably the biggest reason!

Comp vs paying changes this discussion, but all things being equal - Paris wins.

Is this true as Diamond I can use any CET pool? Even if not staying CET? I have My July trip in a two bedroom at Mirage but it would be cool to pool hop with my Diamond next door to Caesars one pool day. Can anyone confirm??

I love Ballys Jubilee, and actually like Flamingo Go rooms also. However my first choice is Paris. I like the 'smaller footprint' of the entire facility and super short walk to Strip, especially if I go out into the alley by Sportsbook & out to Strip by CVS. Shorter hallways to rooms are a big plus & they have recorded notes that I prefer a room closer to elevators & I receive it! For a diabetic the close proximity of the elevators to the newstand & giftshop is a huge plus for me. (At Ballys sometimes Nosh is not open 24/7 - noticed that last trip again. Just never know). I always have food/juice in the room however I have had crashes where even my stockpile is not enough. I may have to toss on a pair of jeans & a sweater over my nightshirt and hightail it to the newstand for juice, candy, donuts - ANYTHING lol. If I do choose Ballys, I do Jubilee tower so I can get to either Nosh, a bar or coffee stand, as the walk from furthest rooms in Resort tower can be LONG.

The rooms are definitely a noticeably smaller layout at Paris - I have actually split stays between the two and then it is more apparent. I have also found that there are a couple 'odd' King rooms that are REALLY a lot smaller - those must be stuck in some odd pattern in the layout. So I normally book 2Q rooms to make sure I have a standard size room (also serves to help if my back is bothering me as sometimes one bed is better for sleeping in than the other to ease pain). Most recent trip was a King and normal size.

The newest Burgundy rooms have the tub removed and as mentioned the shower is considerably larger. (I think there is a pic in my trip report if you go hunt for it from April). Bed was very comfortable and I was so tired (stress) that even the club noise from Chateau was only mildly disturbing with a straight on view. Coffee makers have been removed (I understand they have been at Ballys also). Not sure if the previously redone Burgundy still have the tubs or not.

I find both casinos very active and if you like music, there is normally live music at either one during the evening. As far as pools, when I have stayed at Ballys in the winter they have had a sign in the room stating that the pool is closed, but please feel free to visit the Paris pool (it's open weather permitting year-round).

Every once in a while I have an offer that will not allow Paris as a booking option, even though the room itself is comped if I don't take the offer. I had that happen with Celine tickets. Since I have no problem with the Jubilee rooms, it was an easy decision to stay at Ballys and get the free tickets.

I have a “Jr Executive Suite” comped for 2 nights at Bally’s... Would folks generally prefer that room (they said it’s remodeled and nearly 800 sqft) over a Burgandy room at Paris?

Reading the comments, y’all have me considering switching now!

    That is a GOOD question.
My guess is NO as you usually have to show a room key, as well as your ID & diamond card.
But would your diamond card & ID work?
    Worth a shot--let us know!

I ended up going with a Julibee Strip view room at Bally's one night and two at Cromwell in a luxury room. I've never stayed at Cromwell before and had the comp offer so figured try it out! I know the rooms are smaller but like that it's an easy access to the strip.

So for all the people picking Paris over Ballys, I kind of wonder when the last time it is that they've stayed at both properties is because IMO Ballys wins over Paris. I've stayed at both properties multiple times over the past 5 years. In terms of things like the pool and other ammenties, the point is moot because both properties share everything.

Paris WAS nicer than Ballys overall, but also they are adjoined so there really isn't much difference between the two. More recently however Ballys has done a lot of renovations. All of the rooms at Ballys have been renovated. Most of Paris' rooms on the other hand have not gotten a renovation in a long time (if ever) and look quite dated these days in comparison. I know some rooms are renovated, but at least in my experience, most are not. Things like the elevators, hallways, etc also are showing their age. Ballys rooms are also much larger. Paris was the highest of the Caeser's mid-tier properties in terms of quality but with Harrahs, Flamingo, Ballys all getting major renovations I would say that that is no longer the case and IMO is not worth the extra money to stay at these days.
