Just been watching the cast talk about this upcoming film and it looks such a great feel good film for anyone who loves the Fab Four.

Has a great writer and director and some appearances from huge stars but basically the main cast aren’t so well known across in the US.

I can’t wait for it personally after watching the trailer.

I've been seeing a lot of ads for the movie on TV. Being a big Beatles fan, I'm also looking forward to seeing this one.

Coming out just about the time Paul McCartney hits Vegas.

May even have to go see it while in Vegas. (no stone throwing... please...)

If you just love Beatles music, then you should go to "Abbey Road on the River." It is in Jeffersonville, Indiana, right across the river from Louisville. Bands from all over the world and a few bigger named acts. This year they had the Buckinghams, the Cowsills and the Grass Roots. I know next year the Little River Band is one of the headliners. Look it up online. It really is a great time.

Will pass on the film but love the music and songs. Maybe a few Beatles CD's played while cruising in a convertible with the top down around Vegas.

What a brilliant idea for a movie. Wish I had thought of it. Sort of a reimagining—pardon the pun—of the world at a time when we face numerous uncertainties.

Anyway, also looking forward to seeing Sir Paul at Dodger Stadium on July 13.

They tell me (the ubiquitous "they") that the release has been bumped earlier, like from this fall to this month, so it will be in theaters Real Soon. Definitely on my must-see list.

As for being a fan, I was a REAL big fan from maybe age 11 to 15, when they first started becoming popular on this side of the pond, but to be honest, they started losing me about the time the White Album came along.

Sorry, hardcore fans, but other than the two major rockers (USSR and Birthday) and a few other tunes, the double-album sounded (to me, anyway) as tres commercial with lotsa filler. I did catch a lot of crap when I shared my feelings with others back in those days so I mostly STFU'd about it. After that time, I really like a few of their group and solo tunes, but again, many of them really don't do anything to me. (Please throw soft stones!) :)

Some truth here. They got pretty sloppy at the end, and the White Album is not really a group effort—more like two songs from John, two from Paul, one from George and one from Ringo. I think only George plays on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." Let It Be recordings equally haphazard. The second half of Abbey Road, however, may be the best piece of music ever put on vinyl.

And, other than a few songs here and there—"Imagine," "My Sweet Lord," "Maybe I'm Amazed"—the post Beatles careers were nothing special.

Still, definitely looking forward to this movie.

HUGE Beatles fan and a fan of their independent endeavors too! I can't wait to see this!

Took it as the biggest sign of my life that we bought a home on Blackbird Circle when we moved to Colorado. Three years in though, we realized we had moved next door to Satan. Even my love for The Beatles couldn't keep me at such a cool address. :D

I cam late to the Beatles fan club, so to speak. I never paid any attention to them until late in their time together. Turns out I liked a lot of their music. Don't know why it never registered with me earlier.

I did not know there was a movie coming out about them. I guess I missed the ads and previews for it.

    Thanks.

Just checked this out and going to buy tickets for it. Tickets seem a very good price...hotels... not so much.

Yes, the tickets are reasonable but hotels are expensive. There is a shuttle from the Sheraton which is very handy.

I like every Beatles song. Every one. To me, it's like being a fan of an artist. Was there a 'bad' Da Vinci? I don't think so. Only different ones if you're a fan.

Interesting to mention second half of Abbey Road.
    You did know ?
The Beatles just let each half finished song run into the next -
and I don't know who made that final decision ?.....
So why didn't they finish the songs ?.....probably, not much motivation anymore ?
But......that stream of half finished songs worked.........maybe "they" knew about Attention Def. Disorder ?
    I jest.
    .
This movie is a nice Marketing Tool to intro a younger generation to Beatle's Catalogue of music and
satisfying the older generation to spend $12 on a new movie about an old band.
    Smart.

I am a so-so fan. (been to LOVE 10+ times).

Anyways, we listened to Paul's new album. Doubt we will ever listen to it again. And, not looking forward to hearing those songs during his concert in Vegas. We all have different tastes... fan or not.
