All of the barbeque I've eaten in Las Vegas has been a disappointment. I live in the Kansas City area so my standards are extremely high and I haven't had a single thing in Vegas that comes close.

I was in KC last week and went to Arthur Bryant's original location off of 18th St.

My knees still get weak thinking about that Burnt Ends sandwich...

I won't argue with you as everyone's opinion differs but it was better than the John Mulls I had a few weeks prior. Hit and miss maybe

The owners of Boss are in process of renovating the building at 1935 Fremont Street so that will soon be its permanent address. The building is 1.3 miles from the Nugget. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Golden+Nugget+Las+Vegas+Hotel+%26+Casino,+Fremont+Street,+Las+Vegas,+NV/1935+Fremont+Street,+Las+Vegas,+NV/@36.1662531,-115.1430532,15z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x80c8c3a1c94f9a33:0x2010e5b6b996618b!2m2!1d-115.1447087!2d36.1700534!1m5!1m1!1s0x80c8c3668601e213:0xdea4acff8f00333b!2m2!1d-115.1229771!2d36.1618972!3e2

Try Joe's KC, Q-39 or LC's for burnt ends. Kansas City caviar.

TC's Rib Crib is a winner with us. Small place, maybe a dozen tables inside and a couple more outside, located in a strip mall. We make it a point to go every trip. Only ever had the ribs and barbecue chicken but they were both very tasty. Never have had enough room for dessert. Staff is always friendly and doesn't seem to mind that we always want to sit outside, even though I'm pretty sure we're the only ones who ever do.

Are there any Vegas joints serving South Carolina Mustard/Vinegar based sauce anyone can recommend. Any places serve decent rib tips?

I would eat Joe's or Q39 at least once a week for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy. We went to both last year and still dream about it.

I know that Famous Daves has that kind of sauce as an option, but as a caveat, I would not expect a BBQ chain from Wisconsin to do Carolina regional cuisine with any degree of authenticity. I think that Memphis also has that kind of sauce as an option too.

I've been seeing this thread for a couple of days now and didn't open it because the only "bbq" place (using that term VERY loosely) I have eaten is Tony Roma's. But I finally opened the thread to comment that
    Best Barbecue Restaurants In Vegas
seems like an oxymoron to me. Sort of like, "Best ski slope in Texas."
    Yes, I am spoiled.
And yes, I am braggin' about Texas bbq! Especially central Texas.

The only place on this list I've been to is Big Ern's in the container park, and it was disgusting. Couldn't eat more than a few bites. Avoid at all costs.

I'm from NJ so I feel the same way when people post about Pizza in Las Vegas. I wouldn't eat Vegas pizza if you paid me.

    Just LOLOL.

Except Vegas pretty much hand picks the top popular restaurants/places to eat from cities and just opens the same here. The only real problem is finding the place you like out of the 8394235 restaurants here... Not the worst problem to have i guess lol.

I like the SC mustard sauce and can't find it anywhere in Vegas. I doubt it would meet your standards even if it existed.

From Chicago, I generally feel the same, but Pizza Rock does a great job (and happy hour deals are great), and Amore in Summerlin is worth hitting up if you are in the mood for a good Chicago thin style pizza (they have pan and stuffed too, but we like Chicago thin).

You are likely correct. I'm OK with decent, never think of BBQ in Vegas or most other places. Not a fan of Chicago style "jello ribs" either.

House of Blues has a decent Sliced Brisket @MB.
Haven't tried the other spots, but on a 7 Day'er
I start to miss BBQ & home Cooking.

It’s bring a folding chair, book, umbrella for the sun, arrive at 7:30 am for an 11:00 am opening and you’ll be about 20-30th in line good.

I have yet to eat bbq in Vegas but with all these recommendations I’m ready to try!

I also love South Carolina and Memphis bbq.
