Is Voodoo a nightclub? bar? Something in between?

Last trip (2017) we had dinner at Voodoo Steakhouse and.around midnight wandered up into the Voodoo Lounge. It was a.wednesday night so there was not much of a crowd, but not empty. We loved it.

So this trip (July) we plan to go back, on a Thursday night. I am researching bottle/table service but don't really see much out there. I have emails into Voodoo and Jack Colton. Now I am wondering if it really is considered a "club" or just a lounge

    Anyone have any insight?

It’s a club. DJ spins tunes and people dance outside on the rooftop.

It's definitely a club, albeit a more relaxed club than others in Vegas.

Vegas.com offers some bottle service info, which of course may be different than the directly available prices.

Despite lots of good intentions, it’s the only Vegas club Ive successfully gone to. It was a lot of fun in August at 2 am after many drinks. We got in free, not sure how that happened. They probably just wanted to get rid of us. The rooftop is so great! Not a single person had a bottle service table so I wouldn’t bother with that. Enjoy!

@jhpa it was a week night not sure which one. It was our final stop as I was staying at the Rio anyway. Not too crowded but not deserted either, everyone was dancing. I live with lousy weather most of the year so any outdoor club in the desert is gonna click with me! We might go again if we go out to the Palms this year.

For people who want a fun time, don’t have to get overly dressed up, and beautiful atmosphere, Voodoo rooftop bar is awesome!

And you get a nice view of the strip from the west side.

Well - I booked a table for July 11 - a Thursday evening. I’ll let you all know how it was.

Great atmosphere, Not too crazy, awesome views and most importantly quick drink service VS most clubs where it takes a while for a server or bartender to attend to you.

I don’t think it qualifies as club. There is no hustle to get in, no drama at the door, dress-code loose, no need for Jack Colton. If your group is large, check with the concierge and get a reservation. I would not bother for fewer than 6 or so. It is low pressure, most are there for the view. Go on a Chippendales night, lots of girls and can be fun.

Well, club or bar. Who cares! Had an awesome time Thursday night. Fun music, great crowd. Got a table with a bottle and made some.friends. Best view in Vegas and an almost surreal experience ( especially after half a bottle of Grey Goose).
Such a good experience we returned Saturday night. An even better time!
