True that. I need the "right" vibe from another person in order to go to LV with them

JR and I were going to be in Vegas and after that, it's complicated. I smile and nod when it comes to interpersonal stuff that isn't my own...

Sounds like this guy was just completely overwhelmed being in Vegas AND being introduced to a whole new group of people who are partying hard. Kind of feel bad for the guy getting dumped in Vegas like that.

Just woke up to texts. JR was “dragged” to an house party with a hired band. Apparently the party was so much fun, on the ride home a stop had to be made on the side of the road so JR did not throw up in the car.

I really think she is making a stronger and stronger case for a Gaggles Vegas Bachelor Trip Report.

Here is a pic of the band.

Gonna be a LONG travel day for JR getting all the way back to Alberta.

Apparently it wasn't so much that he couldn't keep up as he was a Vegas veteran. MOH just felt the whole thing wasn't going anywhere. He did not appear to be overwhelmed although we can be a handful in Vegas.

On the off-chance that I'm in Vegas during the bachelor party, please be sure to post an itinerary (non-binding, though it may be!)

Well, it's a good thing she came to a decision with him, but she couldn't wait to get home to break the news? Not as bad as the story I read here about the couple wanting to end their marriage on the airplane leaving Vegas, but damn.

Haha, no, the title gets transferred well before that. Pretty sure at the latest it gets transferred when you get down on one knee. That's what the submissive pose is for after all! Because you KNOW you aren't the boss while planning the wedding!

As my cousin's father in law said to him: "How long have you been planning this wedding? Because she's been planning it since she was 12!"

They were from different cities so rather than spend two more insincere days together the MOH was up front. Plus, the MOH only gets to see JR 102 times a year at most so the decision was made. I'm not trying to justify the decision but I absolutely agree with it. If a "first date" goes poorly, you don't schedule a second one do you? Anyways, he seemed like a good guy in a bad situation.

Let he or she who hath not agreed to meet a stranger in Vegas for the weekend cast the first stone. What? None of you have ever done that? Really???? Wait....does that sound like a fabulous new thread or what? I think we should post it, "I Agreed to Meet a Stranger in Vegas and....." And I mean that in a NON Ladies of the Night context!

We're only hearing one side of the story. Might have been a mutual "this is not working...let's end it now and enjoy what's left of our Vegas trip."

I can actually relate sort of. I used to chat and meet folks from IRC BITD (where are talking mid 90's, bet some of you don't even know what IRC is) and one time I got all long-distance hot and heavy with a girl who decided to to fly from Minnesota to come meet me here in Texas and spend the weekend with me. It was ok at first but I quickly lost interest and attraction and spent the rest of the weekend "faking it" as not to hurt her feelings and make an awkward weekend even worse. She never even had a clue and was still just as interested when she left. I was glad the weekend was over because it was tough to feign interest that long, I have no idea how escorts do it! After she was home I just used the distance as an excuse and told her the connection wasn't strong enough to overcome it.

I have done that. I met a girl in Vegas and she came and spent a few days with me. The time in Vegas was great, the time she was visiting was....not so great. It started off fun doing all the touristy stuff but after day 2 it started to turn sour. When you spend a few hours, or a night, with someone it's fun, when they are basically living with you for the better part of a week, when you have only known them for a month, it can go bad quickly. There was no where for her to go and, at certain points, it was like she was trying to pick fights with me. I still get an occasional text from her here and there but I haven't responded at all in months.

As for escorts, it is probably really easy to feign interest when you only have to spend a few hours with a person at a time and, let's be honest, most of the time is not spent talking anyway. And also when the person is paying you to feign interest.
