Solo Scotsman in Vegas. 6/5-6/12 - Live...ish

Day 2: Awake around 4.30am. Lay in bed til 5 and realised I wasnt getting back to sleep.

Showered and dress and now off to walk the strip for a bit.

Day 2 update.

Walked from Excalibur up to Tresure Island and back. The weather was great until 8am ish when it started to get really hot. Gambled a small amoumt but again no wins really.

Back to the room for a quick pit stop and to pick up some more cash then went to Dennys for Breakfast. Walked around the Miracle Mile and Planet Hollywood for a bit and headed home.

Thought it would be wise to have a nap now so tried to get a couple hours at 2. A couple hours turned into 6 and i didnt get up til 8.

Had a quick bit at Jonny Rockets and now heading to Luxor. No real plans for tonight. Might see grab a game of poker at some point.

 

Night 2 done by 1am.

Slotted around Mandalay Bay and played VP at Excalibur. Again no wins of note, i think this is the worst start to a trip Ive ever had. Hopefully this pick up tomorrow.

Also ive been here 2 days here 2 days and havent been drunk yet. Wassup with dat?

 

With the jet lag you are excused from buzzlessness. But now that you had your catch up nap and strip walk there are no more excuses. We want to see photos of big wins and big drinks.

 

We arrive tonight and also staying at PH. See you at the meet and greet on Sunday afternoon.

Most interesting thing that happened so far was the other poster from here checking in/staying at same hotel the same day... very exciting

 

Yeah let's hope he "follows up". Haha

 

Wow, today was not a good day. I usually have one bad hangover day and today was that.

So day 3, as many of you will have seen, i meet up with @Not at the table Carlos @WadeRedcorn Waldo and doctor walnut.
Started off with one at Stage Door before heading to Ellis Island.

Up first was craps, i hit one of my best runs ive ever had. Over 30 rolls and doubled my buy in. All 4 of us rolled and i was nearly 3 times my buy in. Unfortunately the rest of the table was colder than ice. And i ended up below my buy in. After a couple hours of up and down i ended up losing 3 dollars but gaining 4 drinks, i'll take that as a win.

Went to Flamingo to check into their rooms and for 50 cent beers. I was wasted by this point so memory is a bit fuzzy.

What i do remember is:

-Steak special at ellis Island
-being down to my last $10 but rebounding back up to $75 at blackjack.
-hooking up with a girl at carnival court.
unfortunately thata where i left her. Did get her number so watch this space.

As for today. Threw up until 6ish, manage to leave the room for some food for a couple of hours. Definitely couldnt face a drink though.

Back on it tomorrow through for the meet up at Bird bar.
