I hope this is true. If there is a downgrade I’ll have to move next door to 4 Queens. 4 weeks and i can verify.

Sports book at The D re-opens on June 19th. So hopefully the Vue Bar renovation will be finished then as well.

 

No matter how you chop it up, there is just not that much room up there.
Assuming they still have the keno.

 

Played at VUE tonight and all is well (8-5 prog BP still there). I think there may be construction tomorrow though... I will let you know. Bob

 

Was hoping that Vue bar was expanding. A horseshoe would have been awesome. But based on the tweet, it’s the sportsbook that’s getting bigger.

As everyone said, as long as paytables don’t change I’ll be happy.

 

Closed this morning. Signage verifies Just ne 19 opening for Circa Sports.

 

Read elsewhere that it will be closed completely for 2 weeks. New bar being installed.

 

I'm Twitter-famous! And although I am pleased that a senior casino executive responded, he's in charge of the sports book. Fingers still crossed.

 

Glad to hear it! I snuck into downtown with my son a year or so ago and loved everything about the D. We played for awhile at the Vue Bar and I enjoyed the service and the ambiance, but that area was definitely in need of an update... happy to hear it's time has come!

 

So where the heck are my drinks gonna come from playing the sigma derby? Is there another bar/drink service area upstairs or will the poor girl have to take the escalator downstairs for 2 weeks?

 

Not sure what any of this means, but VPfree website comments that the Vue Bar is down until June 14th and the Progressive 8/5 BP is MIA.

 

Probably listed as MIA because they can't be played right now.

 

I was at the D last night to cash in some freeplay and saw that the Vue Bar has been covered by scaffolding covered in "Circa Sports" livery. It would appear that they are converting the Vue Bar into a sports book branded the same as the one that just opened at GG; hopefully one with the same decent video poker offerings!

A sports book with bartop 8/5 BP would be Heaven.

 

plus 1 milllion, my god, imagine the progressives you'd hit on Sundays.
