Long time Vegas visitor - have stayed at CP a few times, but never been to the pool. Thinking of spending a little time at pool in June.

We will not be doing Cabana, etc as will not spend lots of time there. This will be on a Mon/Tues or Wed

What are the food options - especially for late breakfast/early lunch?

Another note about CP - what are experiences for late checkout on a Wednesday.

Food options at the pool? Or in the resort? At the pool, its a pretty limited menu with the standard pool food stuff (burgers, nachos, sides; that kind of stuff)

My only experience getting a late checkout is as a diamond member. They always offer it to me when I am checking in. If you're not diamond or seven star, I think they make you pay for a late checkout

Garden of the God's Pool Menu - hope this helps.
The loungers go early - really lovely pool.

Yes - at the pool. Within CP - there are at least 50 food options it seems.

We are both Diamond, so maybe that can get us a bit. Our flight is not until 7:15 and did not want to use another room day and adt/comp issues.

We will go to airport around 3-4 and hang at the Amex lounge for late lunch and drinks before flight home.

There is a 2:15 flight on Southwest we will keep an eye on and maybe standby... but that means spending way too much time at airport if we do that.

In that case, just ask at checkin. As i said, they always ask me at the diamond checkin anyway, but bring it up if they don't. It won't get you an extension to late afternoon, but it will get you an extra hour or two

In April I was in a Palace Suite as a Gold member and they offered free extension until noon, and 2PM for the $30 late checkout fee. That worked for our flights so there was no further negotiation, but I was given 4PM at Rio for the same fee, just depends on availability of the room type etc. As Diamond you may be able to get VIP to waive that $30 fee (it's $30 if requested at check-in, $50 if requested on checkout day)

Oh and that CP checkout happened to be on a Wednesday of the week of the broadcast convention when they were still pretty full

Caesars is one of our home bases. We always take the last flight out home which is usually around 7:00. We always book the room for that day and it has never hurt our comps or offers. We've been doing that for about 7 years now so you really need not worry about affecting your ADT.

Not to argue - but how do you know? Would your comps be better if you did not have that extra day? I guess what I am saying - I have never heard of way to know if it helps or hurts.

According to the 3 executive hosts I talked to and posted about in another tread, as long as you don't gamble(or don't use your card if you do gamble)on the extra night, it won't hurt you.

My gf and I are both Diamond. Whether we have one room booked or two(if with friends or other family members), every CET property(including CP)has given us a 2pm late checkout with no charge. LINQ gave us a 4pm late checkout at no charge at the end of March.

I do the same and have all of CET comped. Not sure how the comps could get better.

Getting rooms comped is not too hard.
Getting suites is the next step.
    Getting top show tickets,
or Freeplay (we used to get $200-$400 in Vegas, now at $50)
or Resort Credit (we used to get a couple hundred, now much less)

As our Vegas play per day has dropped, so have offers. We once were able to get suite, FP, Food Credit and show tickets on the same trip... no more)

Pretty much impossible to put an exact number on it.

Suites have a higher comp value than a standard room and require much more play on your end to get them. They also eat into your backend comps. If you're only getting offers of $50 in Free play, you really shouldn't worry about booking that room for an extra night and messing up your ADT. You're on the lower end of the radar.

Damm 50 bucks for a drink sounds a bit steep

    Thanks for posting pool menu.

Are there table areas...or just poolside/chair service?

I know there are always a few small tables near the entrance behind the buffet, but I do not know if the servers work that area or not

I have a couple questions as I might stay here at the beginning of my trip in August. How crazy does it get early in the mornings, do you need to get a lounger early in any of the pools?
I like to get Starbucks for breakfast - do they have issues with bringing that out to the pool?
    TIA!

I personally love the pool and the food is pretty good. Not bad prices either considering where you’re at.

Don't know about Starbucks - but I can tell you that the Garden of the God's Pool loungers go pretty early.
I don't have experience with any of the other pools, but love heading out to that pool early, early before the
crowds and before it gets too hot and most times I have seen a bunch of the loungers are already reserved.
    Not sure about the others.
