Nice after-trip hit!

 

Meant to ask earlier - how does one get white castle and fat Tuesday comps? Connected to the Royale player card? I can't find any info about anything with that player card except the freeplay. I have one with thousands in play on it can't find any info. Wonder if Im leaving something behind. I appreciate a frozen beverage in the summer!

 

Wow. I was gonna pretend like I knew how to get WC and a drink (send SO to stand in line and stick a $20 in the VP bar to get a free drink) but I have no idea how to get a free fat tuesday.

It is tied to your Casino Royale Players card. I was advised that after not visiting for 4+ months that my $75 FP had lapsed - damn! But the food comps are still there. Just check at the club desk, they’ll tell you how much you have and where it can be used. The Fat Tuesday one is only good at the Fat Tuesday connected to them I believe.

 

Bummer that casino royale FP expired, but ive heard you earn points pretty fast. And i believe you can use it at their Outback too!

And nice post trip hit! But those are the results more in line with what I have seen with Buffalo Diamond.

And what was your job at the casino?

 

Thanks! I'll have to check when I'm there in a couple weeks. I was very lucky there last trip (my first time playing there) so I racked up a lot of play, and I have the false sense of it being a place I'll come out ahead! Free frozen liquor concoction would be a great excuse to walk over there and press my luck!

I worked in IT at 2 local casinos, assisting fellow employees with their technology needs

 

Alright so - we rewind to Thursday night. After our fabulous spa time and massages.

We did a little food sampling at the Cosmo. A wanted sushi, so she got the salmon avocado roll at Zuma. The wait to get in took forever, and it was over another 30mins waiting for one roll!

If time is money, this was one expensive roll!

Next, we wandered to Jaleo. I was itching for my margarita.

 

Jaleo is so so good! I’m a huge fan of Jose Andres - and while I much prefer the jamon croquettas from Bazaar Meat, I will happily enjoy the chicken version as well.





I got my favorite margarita and should’ve ordered two! I was saving my appetite for Rose.Rabbit.



So so amazing and delicious. Smokey and spicy but goes down well! A got the rosemary lemonade and that was good too!



Love these croquettas so much!

A wanted to try these chorizo goat cheese + local honey stuffed cones and they were amazing!!


We should’ve got more!!!

Then, it was off to Rose.Rabbit for dessert.



Marquee was packed no matter what time of day.

 

After heading to Rose.Rabbit, they had stopped serving food, so we went to Milk Bar instead.






Then, it was time for slots! We proceeded to spend over 2hrs in High Limit, I was beginning to like it there!








Raspberry Lemon Drop - gotta get these more often!



A headed to bed, and I proceeded to play more in the regular slot area before calling it a night.

Our last day we ended up staying at Cosmo until after 6:00pm! I hope I got some decent coin in on this trip!!

This trip was amazing, even though I still don’t felt like I drank or ate as much as I wanted. Winning is always a plus, and I think I revised my nightly gambling budget.











Staying at opposite ends of the Strip was fun, and Mandalay Bay is still nice, but it kind of felt isolating when all I wanted to do was play at the Cosmo. The waiting paid off though!

Next time I’m out there, definitely going to Rose.Rabbit.Lie and getting more drinks at Chandelier Bar. And more snacks! Hopefully next time I’ll spend more time in High Limit!

$1,465 cash + $39 in change!


Not bad at all! The free room upgrade and getting $200 comped off my bill at Cosmo was an amazing plus.

I played most of the slots I wanted to play, including checking out some new games!!

Hopefully planning another trip for part of 4th of July weekend!

 

129 quarters??? 144 pennies??? Do you merge your tickets together before cashing them out?
