Are you a new Red Card member? If so, PLEASE make sure you go by the Red Card desk if you earned at least 300 points during your stay, as that means you can spin for a prize. The top prize is $10k in Free Play (Wynn calls it "Free Credit"). 700 points is 2 free buffets but one of the prizes on the wheel includes buffets, show tickets, lower free play prizes, etc.

Depending on when you check out tomorrow, if you like pools you should check out the pool, even if for a half hour or so. Love the Wynn and Encore pools. Some like the Wynn pool better but I like the quieter vibe of the Encore pool.

    Good luck tonight!

Well today I leave and last night was no different than the rest!

Went back to $1 machines with no luck.

Our family group pull was drama filled and ended up taking place at Mirage and really should have left that property!

First off at TI I played for around an hour and not one cocktail so I went to Mirage and was feeling quite lucky! I had an Elvis song stuck in my head and was singing it out loud most of the night!

At Mirage I loaded a $5 top Dollar machine in the high limit room and immediately a “mad” woman sits down next to me. She is losing and has an envelope of what must have been tons of $20 bills. She would put a bill in, spin, lose, repeat, angry she would slap the machine and one point she asked me if I was having luck. I hit the cash out button and said I just won $600 (my buy in) and walked away. That made her mad! I was not going to play next to someone like that. So on to a $5 wheel of fortune right outside of the High limit room.

Same thing basically happens all only this time it is a hooker! I had just loaded the machine and it shows $300 in credits. She does her thing....her line was do you want a guaranteed winner tonight? I reply no not tonight I am not interested. She comes back with for that $300 we can have a lot of fun! I am now mad...I just want to try and play/video these pulls and WIN!

She finally gave up and I got to playing finally.

First Machine in for $300 out with $35
2nd machine in for $300 out with $70
    Pretty terrible luck!

Thanks Flowers! I did sign up and did earn a free spin on the wheel! $10 free play but was hoping for tickets to La Reve. I could get to 700 as I am about 30 points shy I think but I don’t want a huge breakfast before I leave!

Side note I missed pronounced La Reve and they quickly corrected me! I was like ok thanks! I did not think that was very Wynn like

Check, but I think you can use the buffets on your next trip. They expire once they are printed but I think pre-printing they can be "saved", which makes sense as some guests may earn the 700 points at the end of a trip.

And yes, not very Wynn-link on correcting you. :(

LOL love how you messed with angry lady. Get those bad vibes and negative energy away from me lady!

I think if I had this luck on a trip I'd have taken my HL money to Casino Royale and at least get the guaranteed $120 free play off the $600, but day late and a dollar short on that suggestion. Doesn't build you any perks you care about either, so it has that down side.

At the airport got on a good run playing 2 cent video poker

Started with $10 bucks and 1 credit per line. Increased by one unit after first few hits worked my way to 5 units.

10 overall 4 oaks, 2 being A’s, and one Straight Flush. Great time killer. Cashed out $10 ahead

Out the window of my room it looks like Wynn is adding a Tower.....oh wait that is Resorts World! This picture does not do the similarities justice. The lines, glass, and curves are identical

I walked a lot this trip! I just thought about it and I can only think of 4 casinos I missed on the strip between Wynn and Mandalay Bay. I missed Tropicana, MGM, Park MGM, and Hooters as I count that one.

I could have had more but rode the now functional tram between TI and Mirage as well as the tram from Excalibur to Luxor/MB

Ok made it back home. I am working on a pretty detailed recap / comparison of my gaming and hotel thoughts using a ranking of all kinds of categories on a 1 to 10 basis to determine which property is the winner in my mind! I hope to post it this week but my son has a baseball game tomorrow that I better be at! The trip was a blast and I enjoyed sharing it with everyone.....another positive aspect of a solo trip you can keep up these a lot better.

So I created a fun table to review my opinions of each hotel I was able to stay at on this recent trip. It was a blast staying at each but in the end only one can win. These grades are on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best. I awarded bonus points and subtracted points of necessary!

This is from my point of view only, a low roller who enjoys Vegas one to two times a year and up to this trip the nicest hotel I have stayed at was Planet Hollywood each of my prior two trips.

I wish I had my actual gaming stats for the trip but still need to sign up online for that at Cosmo and Wynn so will just say from a gaming standpoint this was by far the worst trip for coin in.

Caesars I only earned 499 Tier credits over my two days. My prior two trips over 2 days I received 1,000 and 1,100 and my budget for this trip was DOUBLE those two trips! I got no play whatsoever on this trip at Caesar’s!

Cosmo I ended at 680 TC over really 1 day of gaming. I believe the points are $2.5 per point vs $5 per point at Caesar’s.

Wynn I ended up with nearly identical points as Cosmo I don’t think I hit 700 but was trying to when I ran out of funds and at 3am I forgot to look before going to bed. I never played the next morning and did not check. Will have to sign up online and check in the coming days.

What I lost out in gaming wise I more than made up from a hotel / property perspective! They were all great and I would stay at any of them again. But which one and why takes the top billing and earns the coveted Will I Return Award for 2019?!

    90E8BB79-FA99-4244-A0BB-D9A321DE4966.jpeg
The Cosmo! In summary I never left from the time I checked in until I checked out! For a guy who roams from one place to another this tells me a lot!

Wynn comes in second and is by far the best Value for $$ paid. I enjoyed it but ate elsewhere and gambled elsewhere after a few hours. It’s just not my cup of tea.

Caesar’s rounds out the list in last place of the three. Excellent upgrade via $20 trick to Augusta Tower vs Forum tower, the bed was the best as was the jetted tub. My platinum status via the Credit card was a great perk I used often.

Thanks for riding along with me. If you have any questions on why I rated a category like I did ask!

    I love the rating system!

I cannot believe you rated Caesars as better food options than Cosmo however. The terrace and fridge deserve more than 5 bonus points each, too. :poke:

Thanks Spicole! My thinking on that was only due to more quick/cheaper options in the Caesar’s food court area. Cosmo does have the District and I ate great food there but it was a bit more and took awhile due to lines being long. Food was better though at Cosmo! I need a new category for quality of food!

Agree with balcony and fridge! Those are awesome extras for sure!

    lol.
    Hookers are always right.
After all, hookers are smarter than us gamblers.
Hookers are making money in Vegas, while gamblers are losing money in Vegas.
