Been here 20 years and never seen one. Wouldn't worry about it.

One benefit of Vegas is lack of insects compared to the Midwest. Love the lack of bugs around pools in summer. My biggest problem
is wasps around the pool getting a drink. I have killed many while swimming. Seldom see insect in house and then just dead ones. I spray the exterior of the house about 4 times a year. And our house sits empty for several months at a time. Make sure your neighborhood keeps their palms trimmed as they harbor rats in the dead leaves up the trees. A few wild cats in neighborhood helps that.

Been told to watch for roaches more. Brownies are outside around hoses and damp areas but seldom move indoors. Been told to watch for blackies that if seen will try to get in houses and are a big problem then. I have only seen a few brownies and mainly in the pit where irrigation controls are.
