    My Trip Report

Tomorrow its off to Vegas for my 8th trip and want to get this ready for updates for VMB fanatics!

Plan was 2 nights Caesar’s and 2 nights NYNY but cancelled NYNY and replaced with Cosmo and Wynn. Thanks to the Wynn Slots app I scored a room and have always wanted to splurge for a balcony fountain view room at Cosmo so I booked it!

I am not a foodie but if you like slots and views of Vegas then I hope to entertain for a few days.

I’m taking in my first show (Fantasy At Luxor)on this trip and hope to hit my first hand pay. Every thing else will be go with the flow on this solo adventure in paradise!

Made it to DFW....hoping I am getting the loses out of the way. I prepaid for parking as it was half off terminal parking. They send you a barcode to scan upon entry and the machine would not recognize my code so I let card pile up behind me before I just hit the print ticket button. Looks like I will be paying $24 a day instead of $12.

Then I signed up for flight alerts as it is storming in Dallas this morning. No alerts and flight is on time when I leave the house. Get to airport and see it is delayed 2 hours and still no alert from Spirit! Cheap flight but I guess those alerts must be a fee I did not approve correctly!

Since I have some time here is how you pack when flying Spirit. I have 4 days of clothes in here!

I fly spirit every trip and overall it is great. I will give them a pass for the alert not working as I won’t be gambling now until 1pm vs 11am!

Off to get some breakfast and hoping no further delays!

Bummer about the parking thing but if you have proof of payment hopefully you can straighten out on the back end. Love the light packing!!!

Agree will try to figure it out on the back end. I’m thinking I signed up to get here at 8am and I pulled up to the gate at 7:50 am so my code might not have been active yet.

How often are security lines this short at your airport?

    No one in line!

Where I live (Tallahassee) this is sort of normal. Longest line I've ever waited in on this end was behind maybe 8 people, usually 0-3 average. The down side is we only have Delta and American daily, and a few other flights per week, and flying out of here is expensive (plus American's hardware and service are both horrible!) I'd rather wait in line for security and have cheap, non-stop flights!

Can't wait until you get there and fire up the TR so we can live vicariously through your trip! Show us some money!

Made it! Once we took off it was smooth sailing! I even fell asleep on the plane and that never happens.

My reservation at Caesar’s was for a comp forum tower room. Upon check in the $20 trick got me an Agustus Tower fountain view suite of some kind! Only on the 2nd floor but I might be able to see the fountains I believe.

I love this room and am getting ready to go downstairs for my first gambling of the trip. Wish me luck so I have lots of pictures for everyone.

The view! Need to get the WiFi working to load more later.

I live 2 hours north of Tallahassee and despite the easy drive and the fact that I have family there - have never flown out of there due to pricing - always suck it up and go to Jax or Atlanta

My first session is not what I came here for! Down $199.77!

Only hit 3 bonus rounds and two were less than 3 bucks! I did see two hand pays and then on one machine the lady to my right could not lose! I felt like I should keep playing but the trip is just beginning so left.

Going to rest up for the come back tonight!

Here are some room pics and my best hit so far.

I think they said my room is an executive suite. It has a sofa area close to the window. Bath has a whirlpool tub and separate shower. I’m going to enjoy this over the next few days!

My first session results. Insert sad face

I call those TITOs "vouchers of shame." Get hyped for a come back! If you run low on money for today, try the Quik Spin machines against the wall near the exit by Omnia. They had two different versions: Super 7's and I don't remember what the other one is called but same game different theme. They're the last 4 in the row against the wall right by the show info booth. Very slim chance of hitting anything over about 10:1 but they are low volatility and good for killing time, also have USB chargers. I accrued a ridiculous number of TCs there on my last trip, played long enough to charge my phone from <20% to full using the machine's USB port on a $20 and a voucher of shame.
