    Hello,
I will be traveling to Las Vegas in the summer and want to stay on Fremont for my 5 night trip. I am torn between these two rooms. I've heard good things about both and was wondering if anyone has any opinions of the two. I play a mix of slots and video poker. Are future comps easier to get out of the two? After resort fees, The D is a little more expensive but not by much. Thanks for any input!

Well the D is redone and the Four Queens is old. Depends on what you like but I’d take the D any old day. I might add to spend nine bucks at the Walgreens on the experience and get a coffee maker. Worth it in mornings. The four queens has no resort fee but like the D better.

I’ve stayed in both room types within the past year. The rooms at 4Q aren’t as nice as they look in photos. Even a standard room at the D is nicer than 4Q room. Can’t help much on the comp question.

Do you get a lot of noise from the FSE at The D in their rooms? I kind of like the idea of the South Tower at Four Queens being away from the noise.

I am OK with either one when they are comped, but the D is more modern.
    as for future comps:
at 4Q you will earn a lot for food comps or whatever you want to spend it on, but they can be a little stingy with the rooms.
at the D, with a decent amount of play you should earn free rooms and some food and some free play.

I can’t speak to the noise either- I can sleep pretty well anywhere. Nothing stands out to me from what I remember. I’m sure others will have opinions.

The D is nicer and in my experience much better with comps.

It’s noisy at the D if you get a room facing the stage. My room didn’t and it was fine.

The D for location, room modernization, future comps and vibe. Just note it is loud in the casino especially at night...I've stayed there many times and just request a quiet room away from the stage and I've been fine. (I'm a fairly light sleeper too)

4Q South tower has actually been renovated more recently than the D. Decent play will yield future offers at either, with back end comps possible. I stay at both, and have no complaints in either place. YMMV

I like both places but the "vibe" at the D on the first floor is a bit ******baggery for my taste. Fortunately, the hotel elevator goes from the floor of my room to the second floor so I can avoid it as much as possible.

Having stayed at both, I'd go with the 4Q premium room. They did a good job on the renovation, the rooms are well equipped and they are the only hotel/casino on Fremont Street that doesn't have a resort fee. 4Q has a more generous comp dollar earning rate, but so far I've been completely stiffed on room comps (with the exception of rewards on the Binion's app).

As others have said, room comps are pretty easy to come by at The D. You also have the option to upgrade that comp to the corner king (I think it was $10/nt). I can't ever seem to get the temp right at rooms at The D due to them being the stupid window/wall units and in the summer, they are very loud. Video poker at The D is very sparse, this is also a big negative as that's mostly what I play. If you end up playing blackjack, The D is the place to go - they are one of the only places that still pays 3:2 and the dealers are pretty awesome.

Unless you're at 4Q or Binion's, every downtown casino has plenty of 3/2 blackjack.

It's all about the 2nd floor! Also, location means you can get to another place in a minute!!

To my knowledge, the only ones that offer it consistently on the FSE are Derek's properties. I was getting 6:5 at Plaza and DTG.

We stayed at the D in a corner King only seven floors up overlooking the stage on Fremont. I never went to bed early enough for it to be an issue. My wife just turned on the fan on the A/C unit and slept just fine.

I agree! Are you definitely no longer the Plaza Queen and have you taken your official Queendom to a new location?

Pretty sure the Fremont has 3:2 BJ.
Be sure to bring earplugs if you play at the D.
