I love that Sex & The City slot! Glad to see someone else has it besides the Cosmo.....I used to do well on it when it was at Ellis Island. :)

My humblest apologies for failing to keep this as I’d hope - on Sunday @majoro was felled with a really nasty cold, and by Monday I’d joined him. We’re still both pretty poorly, which kind of sucks, but we are trying to make the best of it!

    Now, where were we?

Sunday dawned early for me once more - I just haven’t been able to get on Vegas time. Still, sunrise in the city is always a treat.

Not fancying a big buffet we headed over to The Henry at Cosmo for eggs and smoothies. Poor M was really under the weather.

After breakfast I sent him back to Bellagio for a rest (thank heavens for late check out) and I went on a CVS run for cold meds.

Around two we said farewell to this view and headed over to Cosmo. As our room wasn’t ready we had a little explore and a Starbucks lunch.

By four our room was ready - we were being comped and alsogot an upgrade, which was so fun.

Chelsea Tower, 39th floor. Great views!

We decided to do STK for a late dinner. Went to Chandelier bar first for wine, and aces.

STK was an experience - gorgeous food and amazing service; but it did feel a bit like eating in a nightclub.

My wagyu steak was delicious. The Mac and cheese, however, was legendary. Some of the best I’ve ever had.

We’re now back in London, but I’m going to write up the last few days of our trip - despite being poorly we managed to have some great fun. Hopefully I’ll be able to keep our summer trip report more ‘live’!

Monday started with sportsbar VP and on the floor at Cosmo, then burgers at Holsteins (and @majoro’s awesome hard shake).

    914E554A-0CF2-4C8B-A01B-B5024830D620.jpeg

Then we headed out on the floor and to Chandelier bar for slots, VP, drinks and general frivolity. By Monday afternoon M was starting to rally but I was feeling worse and worse, so I took it easier on the booze. Could have made an outfit from my leftover drinks tix!

By ten I was tuckered out and retired early.

Tuesday we got up and ready for checkout, and headed downstairs to play before our hotel change. I. GOT. NOTHING. A brutal few hours of VP, and my cold was getting worse and worse too. Major case of sorryitis!

We went round to the Aria and arrived around 2.30. Thank the Vegas gods, our room at the Sky Suites was ready! We checked in, got our bags from the bell guys, and pretty much crashed. Spent the afternoon watching reruns and dozing, had room service for dinner, and generally tried to get better. The weather was wild and rainy, so we felt a little less stir crazy!

Wednesday dawned sunny and fresh and far more pleasant. M had improved a fair amount, and as I was about 36 hours behind him I knew at least the end of feeling gross was in sight! We went to the sports book to watch the Tottenham/Man City March (which was brilliant - goals and drama aplenty!) then went off for a little mid-Strip adventure. I had a ticket to cash out at Bellagio, so we trammed up to there. From there we wandered down to Cosmo - a a new player I’d earned us two free buffet passes for Wicked Spoon. 3DC72DDF-1543-4506-A7A4-5B84543EEE6C.jpeg

Still being rundown I didn’t go too buffet crazy, but everything we had was delicious. And the tomato soup pictured above healed my poorly soul. We’ll definitely do Wicked Spoon again, can really see why it’s so popular. 778A7A21-0D49-42F7-954A-90A825330AEF.jpeg

After that we took a little leg stretch through Cosmo and Aria, checked out the Sky Pool, and had some downtime in the suite.

    59E0196D-81C7-4B73-B4E8-B875F40DCA46.jpeg

Wednesday evening we played slots, then settled in at Gem Bar for some VP. I hit this on my fourth hand:

    3EF5A56C-FEAA-40D8-9454-D70CEEA01896.jpeg

That was nice! Pootled around for a few hours sipping Morgan’s and coke, cashed out up 300.

    67D24DAE-EABF-42E7-98F4-2E0992D41F5E.jpeg

Then bought myself a slice at 50/50 and curled up in the bath to watch The Real Housewives of New York.

    7145CB21-FDD5-4E9F-BE74-BE10841C75B6.jpeg

M stayed downstairs at the bar and played a little craps.

    2958E112-6021-4460-B5AF-A8983514F4C1.jpeg

Thursday dawned beautifully and we settled in for our last full day in Vegas - slots and VP, sun and fun.

    486F96DA-5108-411F-93A0-012AD956E0E7.jpeg

Went to the Aria buffet for lunch - food good, desserts very good (I’m not the biggest fan of sweet foods), service middling, mimosas foul.

    10E8D6B8-412F-4539-9ED1-CB3369FDD86E.jpeg

Spent a gorgeous couple of hours by the pool with a ridiculous frozen cocktail.

    7C7295FE-A862-47F1-BDEF-F7416B318106.jpeg

Love a sunset over the mountains.

As it was our last night we decided to try a restaurant we’ve heard great things about - Carbone. It. Was. Beautiful. Awesome food, gorgeous styling, divine service. I’m so glad we went!

Full and happy, it was time for bed!

Friday we slept in as late as possible before packing up and checking out. With the suitcases stashed we headed off for some last bits of fun. I went to Sephora (my fave!) before meeting M at Chandelier where I finally broke my quad drought there.

    DE5AB5CC-FE7F-4652-9BA9-EDC8FE86570F.jpeg

Then we headed to Javier’s at Aria for a late lunch - everything was delicious as ever, but M’s Carne Asada looked particularly brilliant. If a little blurry in the pic!

    5D55672B-602F-4803-9073-751F16770621.jpeg

With lunch done we had thirty minutes to kill before our limo. So, of course, we headed to Gem Bar for one last go...

    8BAA6C28-E633-45A3-A08B-4DDF528BC1A2.jpeg

    Thanks, Aria!

With that we headed to McCarran, changed into fresh outfits for the flight, got through security, played airport VP/slots just because, grabbed a snack, then boarded our flight home.

What a fantastic trip we had - thank you to all of you who have read along, commented, etc.

Thanks for finishing the report. Sorry both of you got sick, but glad you didn't let that get you done. Congrats on your first of hopefully many royals and an overall great trip.
