Probably about half the size of Plaza’s casino I’d say.

I wasn’t aware of any new player signup offers. They do have generous offers in ACG/LVA if you’re into that though.

Personally, I’ve only ever been there at night, but I’m adventurous. Most folks would classify this as an excursion better done in the daytime.

Rideshares, yes absolutely. I go to “North Vegas” all the time in rideshares (often further north, to Poker Palace and Silver Nugget), so taking an Uber/Lyft to Jerry’s won’t be an issue. The valet area is well lit too and feels much safer than standing out in the parking lot like you would at those other two places.

    Uber/Lyft certainly goes there.

Casino is smaller than most of the Strip joints, very "local" in ambience.

@tee6395 , based on what I know about your profile, I would not bother going there.
If you were collecting casino chips, or trying to take pictures of every casino, then it makes sense. But I don’t believe you are in those groups.

I'm such a comp whore that I am intrigued by the player's club sign up bonus. lol :p

It wouldn't take long to rack up 2000 points on triple $ VP and I'd get back $125 in fsp and a good meal in their coffee shop. The other bonus is that I could "brag" that I've been there. I LOVE old Vegas and this seems to fit the bill exactly. Family owned and operated since 1964. Sounds just smelly enough to make the Plaza feel like Cosmo. lol

Thanks for the feedback JeJas and you're probably right, but if I'm not getting any gambling love in a couple of weeks at Plaza, D or GG - I'm off to a new adventure with Jerry. ;)

If you play triple $ VP, then you will probably be the highest roller they ever seen. lol.
They will comp you a penthouse suite. Oh, wait, they don't have a hotel.

I signed up for a players card at Jerry’s Nugget 2 weeks ago and received a tote bag and deck of cards. There is a new member 1st day reward template. I earned 100 points and got a t-shirt.
The players club is in the gift shop.

Attached is what they gave me. Craps opens about 11am, only half the table. $3 table no 50 cent so you’re shorted if you play $3

I've been to Jerry's Nugget both in the day and at night. I did not feel unsafe at any point, but I'm also 6 ft 3 and big. There was a security guard posted outside the main entrance, and I had no reservations leaving my rental car in their lot. Getting a Lyft or Uber should definitely not be an issue.

You didn't receive the $5 comp as well? The way I'm reading this is that you will receive all of the items at the 1000 point level. Or is it that you only get the one thing of the level you reach? If you get everything it may be worth the $20 Uber ride. For instance if you make it to 1000 points you only get the $100 fsp and not the $5 comp, tshirt, $20 comp and $40 dining?

I did receive the $5 comp also, I just did not use it. It is my understanding that you would receive everything on that list once you meet the point goal. When playing slots as you reach your point threshold you will receive a pop up message telling you what you earned.

Uber from Casino Center was $7.52. So yes, for less than $20 it was worth my time. I had ACG coupons and redeemed them also. I’ll return to try the cafe sometime. It was a nice time and never felt uncomfortable.

tee if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
The players club is in the gift shop just ask cashier they will get you signed up.
We have been there at all times of day or night and it is safe we have never felt unsafe there.
A couple of years ago I dropped some sports betting tickets on the floor $5000.00 worth and a fellow patron returned them to me that showed me that there are good people there.
I drive there myself we go every morning for football betting and the wife comes along to play vp and drink coffee at the bar while I make my sports bets.
Jerry's Nugget is about the size of the gamming floor at the El Cortez in my opinion.
When we signed up years ago if you got 500 pts in the first 24hrs $100.00 free play and for 1000 pts it was $200.00 fp and you got a t-shirt and a bag I think they also had other promos for less than 500 pts.
    $1.00 = 1 pt slots/keno/live keno
    $2.00 = 1 pt vp
    $1.00 bingo buy in = 2 pts
Good comps on the food and the food it excellent at jerry's café also the deserts are as good as they look.

Mr. Vegas I'm taking you up on your offer! LOL

One last question: Is this offer available 7 days a week? On their calendar I see it showing up only on Tuesday, but the blurb about it mentions no specific day.

    Thanks for your help!

I was there on a Sunday (April 14) and signed up as a new member with this offer. 2,000 coin-in on video poker yielded a total of a t-shirt, $25 in comp dollars, $40 for the coffee shop that expired at midnight the next day, and $100 in free play. Everything but the t-shirt automatically was loaded on my card as I earned the necessary points.

There was no specific day when we joined over 10 yrs ago, and you can spend the comp dollars at the restaurant , bar, gift shop or Zappos if I remember right. I joined 1 trip and the wife joined the next trip so we did it twice, we had a great time getting the points and fp and prizes also finished up a couple of hundred on the slots so maybe that made it better. Also bingo is cheap and fun at Jerry's if you like bingo.

    jerrys nugget has
1-a decent coffee shop with surprisingly good food offerings at reasonable prices
    2-an outstanding bakery----
3-low limit table games along with a decent selection of full-pay vp games
4-a good players program with a good as any comp policy

really is a hidden gem ----been there forever----a locals favorite for that side of town

while the surrounding neighborhood is a bit shakey they have excellent security inside and out and are located on a major street, las vegas blvd north----if you self-park you could request a security guard walk you to your car ----I never had any issues day or nite-----public bus transportation during the day would be fine, to and fro,at nite would feel a bit uneasy----lift,uber ,cab or rental car would be recommended at nite
