Gonna be spending a saturday on fremont street and checking out Jerry's nugget while we are up that way. Was thinking about the buffet at MSS I've had the dinner before and liked it but lines can be long. Also thought about the coffee shop at Jerry's nugget but not sure how it is. Also open to any other ideas for breakfast on fremont st . Thanks

Consider the Market St. Cafe at the Cal. They have a small, basic breakfast buffet for about a dollar less than the MSS, but usually no long lines if you just want a quick breakfast but there is no omelet station.

Their other breakfast offerings are typical cafe stuff. They do offer some different breakfasts popular to the Aloha State like loco moco and Filipino tocino sausage with eggs.

The coffee shop at Jerry's Nugget is suppose to be pretty good.

I keep meaning to try this place, but my Vegas jaunts don't always include being awake during breakfast hours. Technically not on Fremont Street, but it's very very close.

When downtown, I always have breakfast at Magnolia's at the QQQQ. Granted, that's because I have lots of comp dollars at QQQQ to spend. I also like to get a booth that overlooks the casino floor. Food is good and reasonably prices (if you have to pay $$$).

Do the coffee shop at Jerry's for prime rib! Do breakfast at something like MSS.

Not quite on Freemont, but definitely worth the very short walk - EAT Downtown LV! Definitely would recommend it!

As you're going on a Saturday, I'd highly recommend the Fremont for their champagne brunch. Terrible for regular lunch, excellent for brunch.

Never had a bad meal at Market Street Cafe at the Cal either... that's a widely-acclaimed favourite of VMB members.

EAT is awesome too. I especially like it because the owner-chef Natalie Young has an amazing story, from the depths of addiction to the heights of working in the kitchen at the Eiffel Tower restaurant at Paris for seven years: https://www.reviewjournal.com/local/summerlin/woman-opens-3rd-las-vegas-eatery-after-overcoming-addiction/

Also heard great things about MTO Cafe, just south of the Plaza.

Magnolia's is ok too in my experience... good atmosphere overlooking the casino floor.

Only breakfast place I've been to downtown that I wouldn't care to go back to is Hash House a Go Go at the Plaza. Grossly overrated, IMO.

I think MSS serves a brunch on Saturday so it might be a little more expensive.

Say, are you going to Jerry's Nugget for the prime rib special?

Eat is very good. I always go once when in Vegas. The owner always shows up in the morning and eats :). Not sure if that still happens.

Magnolia's at Four Queens is pretty good. So is Hash House at the Plaza. MSS is also pretty good if you're a fan of omellets. If I was paying I would probably do Magnolia's. I don't see a lot of people being disappointed with the quality and value there.

I like the breakfasts at the El-Co, (get the hash browns!), & Magnolia's at 4-Queens.

TC, do you like the hash browns now at El Co? They changed them recently Now they're the exact same thing you get at Mickey D's. I like the old ones better where you could get them to order.

Market Street Cafe is a great option - Spam, Eggs, and Rice. How can you go wrong with that?

I had them last in February 2018...and they were phenomenal!
Sorry to hear that they've changed them.
