Anyone stay at either of these places lately on a comp? In the past comp rooms meant NO resort fees. Is that still the case? Staying at the Orleans for 3 nights and the D for 5 (only 3 are comped). Just wondering if I will have to cough up extra funds to pay resort fees..:confused:o_O ?????

I believe both The D and Orleans charge resort fees (+tax) on comp rooms, unless otherwise specified in the offer. I would check to see upon reservation and check in.

Never been charged a resort fee at any Boyd hotel on a comp offer.

The D does NOT charge a resort fee on comped rooms, you will have to pony up on your paid nights though. If you play enough, you might be able to get the fees taken off and/or your last 2 nights comped as well.

It may have changed as my host Tim when I asked about the comped room at gg last week said if you go through your host no resort fees. He said there are resort fees otherwise.

When I made a reservation through the 800 number for my free night offers, I specifically asked the agent and she said no resort fee. This is a reservation at the D in May.

Just got back from staying at the Orleans a couple weeks ago on comped room. There weren't any resort fees charged. I even think they state this on their web site.

Negative, at least with Boyd currently and the D of a few months ago.

I called to reserve my comped rooms at The Orleans and the person I spoke to specifically indicated that she was removing the resort fee from each of the comp days.

I stayed at the D three weeks ago on a two night (could have had three) comped room offer, and I checked out with a zero balance.
