No. His food pics ALMOST always look so good. In fact, every pic up until that last breakfast pic had my mouth watering.:licklips: But, you know that breakfast wasn't pretty.

Took a beating after the buffet and then hit a brick wall. Been chilling in the room and watching hoops and soccer for the past few hours. I just poured the first of the day - I’m hoping it’ll be a pick me up. If not, then a bunch of Red Bull is probably in the cards. I can’t be dragging on my last night in town!

Service at the buffet this morning was dreadful. It took over 20 minutes for my waiter to arrive (and I had to have a hostess find him.) He never brought my water and continued to be absent almost the entire meal...except when I went to get dessert and my table got cleared.

And what’s worse is that this is the first time in a long time I’ve had line cutting privileges...and there was no line. Lol.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Today has been brutal gambling-wise so I haven’t been in the best mood. Of course, now it’s time to start thinking about dinner. So I’m starting to cheer up a bit!

So who has a suggestion for dinner? Anyone had a meal that has blown them away lately? I can’t really make up my mind and I’m not sure what I’m in the mood for. But I’d kinda like to get out of Wynncore - haven’t left the property all day.

You should ask Alexa to tell you a joke. Keep asking until she makes you laugh, you will hear some awful dad jokes. I would go downtown to eat and gamble. Lots of great choices there and a complete change of scenery might help. Hope things turn around soon.

    Thanks, @kathiemc23

DT popped into my head as well...and Lyft did just email me with a 25% off offer. Just not sure I’m up for the time commitment that the trip would require. (Yes, I am that impatient.)

@thecarve - I recommend Bazaar Meat at SLS - if only for small plates!!

Otherwise, I really like Scarpetta, China Poblano, Jaleo, uhm......Bouchon, maybe check out some places at Eataly?

Well good luck and I'm hoping to see big wins and great food. I'm sure you will find the perfect place to eat. I'm following along here while trying to patiently wait for my March Madness trip. My team now has no chance of making it in to the tournament, so that is kind of a bummer. Now I'm going to ask Alexa to tell me jokes to make ME feel better!

I’m thinking that I’m going to head to Aria and then try to decide between JS, Bardot, Carbone, Sage, Herringbone, Javier’s...you get the idea!

I like Herringbone but there is one here in San Diego (La Jolla) so I don’t go to the one at Aria

Mirage has a new restaurant Osteria Costa. If you like good coastal Italian, I recommend it.
